"Of course, Cee-Jay." Jon's mother said, "I wish that until Karyn and I allow you to become Jon again that you are a ten, almost eleven, year old girl named Catherine-Jane, a girl who is beginning to show all the signs of puberty, a girl who will act like I would want my daughter to act."
CJ didn't feel any different, but she knew she was. She was sure that she needed the training bra she was wearing and knew that if she felt her groin (not that a good girl would), she would find no hint of her now lost masculinity.
CJ didn't really want to be a girl, but knew she was getting too old for her to hang onto to her tom boy phase. 'I am not ready to become a woman.' CJ thought to herself, knowing that if her mother and Karyn didn't allow her to return to Jon soon, she would become one.
CJ didn't have a lot of time to worry about her new life. The sound of a honking horn out front indicated that Mrs. Harrell had arrived.
"Be a good girl, CJ." Karyn said. "Have fun."
Ignoring Karyn, CJ said, "Bye Mommy."
CJ joined the other girls in Mrs. Harrell's van. As she sat down, she smoothed her skirt. "Hi Mrs. Harrell, thank you for picking me up."
"You are welcome Catherine-Jane. It is always a pleasure to see you." Mrs. Harrell.
"You are such a suck-up Catherine-Jane." Whispered Alice Harrell. "Mom loves you as you are, you don't have to keep sucking up."
"I have no idea what you mean." CJ said as she flipped her long blond hair over her shoulder, hating herself for acting so girlish.
Before the discussion could continue, Mrs. Harrell said, "Girls, are you ready for today?"
A chorus of "Yes Ma'am" answered her question.
CJ wondered to herself if her day could get any worse.
