"I was thinking that maybe we could go crash Sarah's party with Karyn ..."
"Sarah?"
"Yeah, Sarah McMillan."
"That cheerleader bitch that keeps making fun of us?" Athena asked.
"Yeah, but I don't think she's a cheerleader anymore."
"You're probably right."
"Well, I thought we could go with Karyn to crash her party, but I'll have to stop off at home to give back my mom's bible."
"Bible? Let me see it," Athena said. "This is a Wiccan bible. Where did you get it from?"
"Sister Mariam gave it to me."
"Really."
"Yeah, I already told you about her."
"I know. But it's still strange to think of her like that."
Zoe returned to her house with her two friends and gave her mom the book. On her way back out to Athena and Zelda, a thought had occured to her.
"I've been thinking. I wonder if this stone has ever been used to change the world like I used it to."
"You didn't change the world," Zelda pointed out.
"Nearly. One million people or more is a lot of people."
"I see your point," Zelda said. "Why don't you use the stone to find out?"
"Okay." Zoe held the stone in her hand. "I wish to know if this stone has been used to change the world, besides the wish that I made." The stone glowed.
"Well?"
"It has, but it won't tell me what happened."
"That's because you didn't wish to know the circumstances," Athena said.
"Of course. I wish to know how the world changed, because of the stone, the last three times." The stone glowed.
"Oh no."
"What? What is it?"
"That bitch. Sarah. She changed the timeline of the world with this stone."
"How could she? Did she ever have the stone?" Zoe wasn't answering. "Zoe, what did she do?"
"She erased my older brother from existence."
"But, you don't have an older brother."
"I did."
