Being a freshman in high school meant that it was time to look for a college. At least that's what Zoe's mom always said (who knows now). But there was this one boy that lived about halfway down the street that was one of those super-smart student council types. He also just happened to be on the school basketball team. Someone Zoe wouldn't really get close to. And Zoe wasn't really into sports.
But just as Zoe was walking with Karyn to Sarah's house, she glanced at Will Grayman's house. She saw someone sitting on his front walk, but didn't recognize him. "Hey, doesn't Will Grayman live there anymore?" she asked Karyn.
"Of course, he does. That's him sitting right there." She pointed at the guy Zoe saw.
Zoe stopped and stared. She couldn't believe it. It was Will. But ... he looked so different. He certainly didn't look clean-cut and well-dressed like he did before.
No, Will Grayman had totally changed, just like Karyn, and just like Zoe's mom. Zoe would really have to get used to all this.
