When they heard Jon go downstairs, Sarah/Zoe hurried quietly to his bedroom.
When I was here earlier, I found the stone under Jon's pillow. Since, as far a Jon knows, I was never here earlier, maybe it's still there, Sarah thought to Zoe.
They walked straight to the head of the bed, lifted the top pillow, and found the wishing stone exactly where Sarah had found it earlier.
Perfect! exclaimed Zoe. Now you can fix this mess.
"I wish ..." Sarah began, knowing exactly what to wish for.
