As it got time to go for the tag titles, I was feeling good. Mark and Keegan, Fire Brigade and the Boom Boom Brothers were going to lose. It was such a hellacious ladder match. The tides were constantly shifting between us. All of us had been busted open at some point, and we were bleeding all over the arena. Tables ladders and chairs had been thrown about and used as weapons. I was put through several tables. People knew that I was the stronger member of our team. I was putting them all through tables and ladders as well. We had a ton of extreme moments. It was while we were all down that one of the Boom Boom Brothers began climbing the ladder. Mark's response to him was to give the guy a low blow and climb the other side. I rolled into the ring, but he pulled the belts down while I was still climbing the ladder. He had become a 3-time champion. That was an amazing feat. This could not be taken away from him. It sucked to lose when I was trying to win. Immortality was a very big pay-per-view stage too. You can't win them all. I still had to help the others win. Kodie too.
It was a good thing they were there. Twinks R' Us were not playing around. They were coming for our throats from the very beginning of the match. Gibbon really had his work cut out for him in his first match as a manager. They wanted to beat him up to get to Crowe and Silas. That was not going to happen. We made sure our newest member was protected. Silas ended up getting the winning pin. They had managed to retain. Suzie also managed to destroy her opponents. It was great. At least they were able to keep their titles. Since we were continuing, this was great. Kodie and I could always get the tag titles later. Especially if Mark and Keegan were the champions of all people. Kodie still had to defend the Intercontinental Championship on the next Battlefield. I dropped the Hardcore title on the chance that we would not be allowed to stay. I could go after it again if I wanted to. I could even try to go after the world championship. That would be something to see. Immortality was a wash for us. We had finished our night. The Ball Boys had been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Being that this was a good time to celebrate, we all got together. Robbie, Will, Jamal, Alex, Xavier, Eric, Leo, Kodie, Silas, Crowe, Gibbon, Suzie and I went to a fancy bar for a reunion party. Child Labor really was an institution now. We had a ton of members and the legacy was one that no one in EWL would be able to ignore. When we left the company, the rest of us would be inducted too. I was very happy to be in good company. We celebrated. It was good to see where they had ended up. With such an amazing resume, they got to get many opportunities in other companies. Robbie was a manager in a different company. He had apparently found his way into a stable where all the members were supposed to be emo. Alex, Will and Jamal were no longer jobbers. Will and Jamal were still teaming together. Alex was striking off on his own. The Ball Boys were together and doing fine. They were not anywhere near a title yet, but that was okay. This was only their first year. If they played their cards right, they could make it far. I made sure they won enough to improve. I wished them all luck.
