Catching some flak was fine. Kodie could not accuse me of not trying to win. I did climb up after him. Now it was time to press on the issue of getting him a singles title. I made he did not lose any more matches. By the long awaited Walk of Fame pay-per-view, he was finally getting his shot. Everyone was out there to support him. As we were trying to make sure Kodie won his match, a trio of wrestlers came out and attacked us. They were a small faction on Rage. They were focused on Crowe and Silas in the assault. Suzie went over to back them up. While the referee was distracted with all of the antics, Kodie hit his opponent with a low blow. He was then able to do a powerbomb. It was his signature move. That was what won him the match. Kodie was now the Intercontinental Champion. The faction that we now had to deal with were called The Purists. They said they hated that we cheated to make a stable of jobbers win titles. They did have a point. It did not matter though. The 3 members wanted to rid EWL of us. It was not happening. It was a rivalry. We took 3 months to destroy them.

Doing this got us another criterion in Faction. It was X-citing Developments when we defended the World Tag Championships against them for the third time. We all got a boost with Red vs. Blue. It was for winning the rivalry. All of us were just ridiculously good at wrestling. With The Purists crushed, we were on a real high. They had now reached the 6 month milestone. When they lost it a month and a half later, it was no big deal for us. They got it back 2 weeks later. It was dropped again after a month with it. Kodie had kept the Intercontinental Championship through this time. Winter Whiteout was when I finally dropped the Hardcore Championship. I had held it for over a historic 2 years in-game to lose it to Mark Tremor. I honestly respected how he hated our guts, and still kept trying to fight. He was a jobber. There was no way he could win. He did not care. Mark had a better career than a lot of the big, top billed wrestlers over here. He was a 2-time tag champ and now Hardcore Champion. He even had the really cool Crimson Mask criterion for competing in 20 First Blood Matches. Amazing.
