As things were now, we needed to focus on our newbies. We were now split between both brands. Like we normally did, we set up several title defenses against jobbers week after week. The 3 teams were easy to crush. They got the Workhorse Champion criterion. The same thing was going on with Kodie and I on Battlefield. Fighting jobbers was easy. Kodie got Double Belted. When we got to Spring into Action, we had some title defenses. We all made sure that Crowe and Silas pulled through. The back and forth made things interesting for us. Suzie, Kodie and I went on Rage to manage them for their matches. Crowe and Silas managed us on Battlefield. That made things cool. Having more matches meant more opportunities for us to rack up some wins. After the new members got 10 wins in a row as a team and 20 wins as a manager, things were good. This made them not only Legends, but Hall of Famers already. The Faction category was really carrying them. They had not been there for 6 months and they had 5 criteria in Faction and 3 in Winning. Workhorse Champion too.

I decided that I did not need the tag titles. Kodie had Untouchable, Double Belted and Coalition Building on top of what Crowe and Silas had. He honestly was one of the best in the company. Kodie would be fine even without the championship. I had an idea for that. Mark Tremor and his partner, Keegan Jackson, fought us in a ladder match. I did not want Kodie to get pinned. He would lose the 24/7 Championship. We just needed to wait until one of them climbed the ladder. After 15 minutes, it was a bruised but pissed off Mark that climbed up the ladder. I was on the outside with Keegan at the time. We were grappling. That was how I excused myself from helping out my partner. Kodie was not able to overcome Mark. Mark had been around the block enough to become a heel jobber. Kodie was not expecting a kick to the balls. Mark was able to pull the titles down. This the first time I had lost. It was also Kodie's first loss here. Mark won his first title in the company. So did Keegan. I was done with the title. Kodie was not. He wanted a rematch. It was a contract perk. We got the title back.

Being that I wanted to drop it, this was not good for me. It just meant that we needed to drop it again. Barry Carlise and Ceasar Fist joined us in a triple threat steel cage match. It was set so both partners had to escape in order to win. Mark was the first to escape. We then all targeted Keegan. He was not getting out. Kodie was next to escape the cage. Ceasar was climbing on the opposite side of the cage. This made it a true triple threat. It was just a race between Barry, Keegan and me. While I was attacking Barry, Keegan dragged himself to the corner and began using the turnbuckles to climb up. I scaled up next to him. We got to the top at about the same time. I slammed his head against the lip of the cage. He was totally stunned. I tossed him off the cage to the floor below. He definitely suffered a minor injury, but his team won the match. Mark and Keegan were 2 time tag champs. It also exhausted Kodie's rematch clause. They got to keep it for a month before dropping it again to some real competitors. It was time to get Kodie in the running for the Intercontinental title anyway.
