You could say that we were in a better spot than we were last year. Kodie was actually allowed to continue for another year. It needed to be renewed every year because he was a jobber. With a second year, he was going to continue hanging out with us in Child Labor. It was not even a question for me and Suzie. We were going to need another couple of jobbers. Our numbers were down to 3. Getting back to at least 5 would be amazing. My initial contract was for 3 years. This meant it was our last year unless they wanted to renegotiate. Suzie's had the same duration as me. The draft was coming up. We had a lot of gold to recapture. The Intercontinental and both tag titles were lost. It would be better to get them better before the draft. It was time to flex our power. We did not have to do much to get a title match for our new members. I had to decide which team we were going to fight. There were less members of Fire Brigade than in Twinks R' Us, so it would be easier to overcome them. There were 5 of us. Since Kodie was free, I was going to push him for the Intercontinental title now.

It would be really good for Kodie's career. He was the 24/7 Champion of a totally different company. Having the Intercontinental Championship would be a concrete show that he was a real Hall of Famer. Robbie did some really good work with the title before he left us. Kodie could too. It was just as easy for us to put him in the running for the title. I was really happy that he was still with us. During the negotiation, he was able to get a title rematch clause in the contract this year. As long as he defended it once, he could then get a rematch if he lost a championship. That was good. His value in the company could not be denied. Suzie and I did not even have it. Having it in the contract gave us wiggle room. What was better than being a champion? Being a multi-time champion, of course. If he was a 3-time champion, that would be a really good accomplishment. Kodie deserved it. Robbie and the others also deserved it if we were being honest. It sucked that Will, Jamal and Alex could not be with us. There was a chance they could come back with what we did. They got into the Hall of Fame.

Zipping forward, it was time for the EWL Tag Team Championship match. Fire Brigade put up a good fight. We had to cheat quite a bit. That did not stop us. It was worth doing, so we would not quit. Crowe and Silas were their names. It was their massive EWL debut. When Silas got the pin, we knew that things were back on track. Neither of them were worthy. They knew that they were jobbers. Crowe and Silas could not believe it. Child Labor was back on top. The next week, Kodie and I challenged for the World Tag Championships. We were able to defeat Twinks R' Us. This made us both double champions. This meant that the stable had Power Trip again. When the draft happened, Rage was able to take their titles back. In order to do so, Crowe and Silas were drafted. With this, they had ticked a lot of criteria in the Faction category towards Legend status. We were so good that all of our new members got an incredible leg up in the company. They had All The Gold, Crossing Boundaries, and 1 Year of Operation. Adding Power Trip to the mix made it great. We could make them Legends.
