It was like a magic spell. Everyone booed. No one wanted to hear us. I grabbed a microphone and stood in the center of the ring. "At the start of this, we had one goal in mind. There was only one mission: to show all you guys what we were capable of in this company. Will and Jamal. Get out here with your belts!!" I yelled. It took a few minutes, but they did as they were told. We stood in the ring together with our belts and held them up. It was a huge mockery of the fans. The boos had not stopped. I smiled happily. "We are Child Labor. We're the kids that work the hardest. All of our dreams have come true. And... everyone, it's all thanks to you guys. You fans are why we get up everyday and do our best." I said into the microphone. The crowd booed even more than before. There was nothing else to do other than do a group hug and leave. It honestly was the end of the perfect pay-per-view for us. I grinned. A week later, the fiscal year for the EWL ended. Robbie, Will, Jamal and Alex were jobbers. As jobbers, they sucked. They had continuing contracts on a yearly basis. They got let go.

Very clearly, this was a bit of a problem for Battlefield. The Intercontinental and EWL Tag Team Championships were now vacant. It was something they were willing to do in order to regain control. It sucked for us. There was nothing that we could do about it. Child Labor was hollowed out. That could not be denied. It was still active now because Suzie and I were still here. A stable was only broken when there were less than 2 active members. We could work with what we had. It was Robbie that got us here. We were the ones with the talent. After carrying 4 literal child jobbers on our backs for 10 months, no one could deny we had what it took to be career makers. All of us got to be ridiculously virulent heels. Robbie alone was a Fall of Famer candidate after the partnership. Will, Jamal and Alex were not far behind. In the Winning category, he had accomplished a lot. It was Undefeated, Managed Demolition and Career Maker. In "Championships", he had 3-peat Champion, Workhorse Champion and Long Reign. That was not all. It was Hall of Fame worthy. Will and Jamal were too.

Will and Jamal had over a 20-0 win streak. Their 21st win was in a huge 8 man tag team match on the Battlefield right after Immortality. Alex and I joined them against a team of 4 jobbers. This meant they had Untouchable on top of the Undefeated, Managed Demolition and Career Maker criteria. In "Championships", they did nice work. I would know because I helped them. They had Workhorse Champion and Long Reign. In "Personnel", they achieved Eye Candy by managing over 50 matches. In the newer Faction category, they had All the Gold and Legendary Roster. This meant they were Hall of Fame Candidates as well. Alex had not won a single EWL title. That was fine though. There were many other ways to get noticed. He had Undefeated, Managed Demolition and Career Maker in Winning. With my help as a manager and tag partner, he became a Table Match Master. He had managed over 50 matches, so he had Eye Candy as well. This let him qualify for the Legendary Roster. This along with All the Gold made him Hall of Fame worthy. Suzie and I had 6 criteria in Winning.

X-ray vision was not needed to see what was going on. All of us were going to be inducted into the EWL's Hall of Fame. In fact, Suzie and I had an invitation to go to an induction ceremony for OPW. There was a time requirement. You either needed to not be in the company for 11 months or be wrestling in the company for 20 years. The game just started so there was no way for many people to be Hall of Famers. The NPCs certainly were not going to be checking off criteria as fast as a Player could. As it stood, the members of Child Labor would be seen as wrestling gods in OPW. EWL was a B-tier company. OPW was only C-tier. The Legend and Hall of Fame status requirements were tougher. I was the only one that left when my contract expired at the end of the year. I was the one who was being inducted. Being a Hall of Famer in a company was nice. You got a 10% buff to all stats. Being seen as a Legend gave you a 5% buff. If I ever went back to them. I would be treated like a king. That was an actually pretty tempting experience. I wanted to gloat for a bit. Those assholes fired me.
