Having our work cut out for us, I pulled everyone into a huddle. "We've been dealt a shitty hand. The only silver lining is that Alex is free. He's going to help Robbie, Will and Jamal. I'll be there too to help before my own match. It is imperative that we stay strong. We are Child Labor. We work the hardest in this damn company! We're going to make it to Immortality." I said. Everyone looked nervous. The opponents looked tough. They were generated with high stats specifically to act as boss fights for us. We could not let NPCs intimidate us into losing before we even got out there. "Who's with me!?" I cried out as I put my hand in the middle. We did a group cheer before breaking the huddle. We were as ready as we would ever be. The first match was really exciting. It did not matter to me because they were all on Rage. Still, it was a good match. Suzie went out for her title defense. She was safe in one of the 4 pods at each of the corners of the ring. The last 2 to enter the chamber would have to fight. The pods opened at random ever 5 minutes. Suzie's opened up second. Cool.
It was easy for Suzie with her high strength stat to manhandle all the women. Once she did her signature move it was over for that girl. The elimination was good for her odds. Next came her finisher on another girl. That was 2 gone in under the span of a minute. Suzie took her time destroying the girl that remained until the third pod opened. At that point, it was okay to eliminated the old one. Suzie the have 5 minutes of playtime with her. She was not happy with that. She spent a whole 2 minutes running all around the chamber to escape Suzie. That stopped working when she finally caught her. Suzie tackled her through the plexiglass of the empty pod. It was not a good look for her. Suzie put her through both her signature and finisher to eliminate here. The match was down to 2 people. It was either going to be Suzie or the girl in the last pod who walked out of the pay-per-view with the title. All of us were hoping it was Suzie. Everyone else was hoping it was not. The final pod opened, and Suzie wasted no time running at her. She wanted to end this. She needed to help the others.
As soon as she hit her signature and finisher, Suzie pinned the girl. The ref could have counted to 33. She was not getting up from what was done. Suzie had done it. All the fans were livid. This was not what they wanted. The boos rained down. Suzie ignored them and celebrated in the chamber. When she came back, it was a relief. We were not going to get blown out here. Suzie smiled. "I'm feeling good. I can go down ringside and watch your backs out there if you need me." she said. That was good. I could take some comfort in that. More than just "good", it was amazing news. The EWL Tag Team Championships were on the line as Will and Jamal attempted to retain against the Boom Boom brothers. They had flame inspired clothes and grisly facial scars. Jamal and Will had Alex, Suzie and I in the corner. We would do anything to help our stablemates like the cheaters we were. They were 5 brothers so that meant there were 3 managing the oldest 2. This made it a 5 on 5 essentially. We caused so much chaos all 6 managers were ejected. Will rolled up their eldest to win in the chaos.
