The card opened with a match put on by Rage. It was pretty cool. Then it was time for Robbie to shine. A ref raised the Intercontinental Championship high. Robbie was by himself. He wanted to show he could retain on his own here. He did 2 low blows and then rolled up Barry. Barry kicked out. It seemed that they were both wearing cups. Low blows had no affect. That did not matter at all. Robbie was a heel. He had way more dirty moves than that. It was not even close. He was able to wear them down. He hit Barry with his roundhouse kick signature move. He was out cold. Robbie then hit Ceasar with his finisher. It was an inverted suplex. Robbie grabbed Ceasar from by behind with his arm around his throat and the blond's arm over his shoulder before lifting him up and over Robbie's height before planting him on the ground. As far as finishers go, it was not that impressive. For an actual jobber like Robbie, this was a massive achievement. Robbie won with that. He was booed as he was handed the title. Robbie ignored them all and came straight to us. It was time for a Rage match.
1 win down, 2 more to go. After the Rage match, it was time for the EWL Tag Team Championships to be defended. Suzie was managing them. It was now her job to shut down Dynamite. Luke Rasdac and John Ender were both tough. It was not enough when there were so many distractions happening at ringside. Luke ended up on the receiving end of their tag team finisher. It was a Top Rope Assisted Piledriver. Will was somehow able to lift the much bigger adult man and hold him in an upside down position. Jamal climbed to the top rope. He then jumped and landed on Luke as Will drove him down. They spiked Luke's head straight into the mat. Luke was not able to kick out in time. Jamal had gotten the pin. Both were now "Workhorse Champions" and could add their names to contenders for legendary status in the company. They had accomplished a lot. They came backstage and we cheered them on. Robbie, Jamal and Will were actually trash fighters. The fact that they were able to lay claim to such a high status made me very proud of what Suzie and I had done here in the EWL.
It was soon time for our match. Since we were qualifiers 1 and 2, I decided that we should do our tag entrance. We were going to be working together anyway. Alex was all for it. We had a pretty cheesy entrance. We were largely a jobber faction. That meant generic music. That was fine. We were Child Labor. Our titantron video was just an introduction to all of us as if we were a company. I was a demon, so I had a whip and looked out of place as the rest looked like regular people. Interspersed between our introductions were highlights from some of our most important matches. First, the Hell in a Cell cage lowered. The crowd got to gawk at it as they played scary music in the background. We told the producer to play our group theme. I was in a new company, so I could not keep my old theme music. I was technically a jobber back there, so this was an upgrade. I actually had them do a slightly more upbeat remix. I talked here over. I also had friends. You never forgot I was a demon. I got introduced as the OPW 24/7 Champion. That was always cool. Mark Tremor entered the big cell next.
2 on 1 were great odds for me. I attacked Mark as soon as he entered the ring. I was not playing fair. I was not taking chances. The Hardcore Championship was mine. It did not matter what I had to do. Mark was a jobber. He was totally defenseless against me here. Alex was my friend. He was also a heel. Of course he joined in. We were in the middle of brutalizing him when we heard The Ravagers' music go off. Chris Redfield came running down the ramp towards us. We tossed the limp body of Mark aside and welcomed the new comer. He was coming in hot. Fists were flying. Alex could not keep up, but I could. The first hit he took sent him crashing to the mat. We were going shot for shot when Alex gave him a low blow from behind. That certainly shifted things to our favor. Jekyll Bombard's music played next. He had a metal baseball bat in his hands. He was coming to do damage while he had the chance. I grabbed Alex and we hightailed out of the ring. The match had not started we did not needed get hurt yet. Jericho Scout was the next one. Those 2 duked it out. It was brutal.
