I personally threw him in the ring and told Robbie to cover him. He trusted me and did what he was told. A ref ran down from backstage. He signaled for the bell. The ref counted to 2.99 before Sean kicked out. This was not very good. This was it. The title match was on. If we did anything, Sean would be champion again. We did not want that. Not at all. Sean Aston had dark red health in his head and torso. Luckily, Sean's kick out was a last gasp. He was a champion so he probably had that ability to kick out automatically one time. It was called Resiliency. If he used that, it was simply out of spite. Robbie picked him up and tossed him in the ropes. Sean was too out of it to resist or reverse the move. Robbie flipped Sean back on the mat with a Fireman's Cary Takedown. Sean was spread eagled there and then. "Pin him!!" I yelled from the ramp. Robbie did it. He got the 3 count. "Here's your winner and still Intercontinental Champion, Robbie Ottie!" the ring announcer called. All 5 of us took to the ring and celebrated with Robbie. We lifted him up and cheered. He had cemented his first reign.

Even as a champion, we did not want to let people see Robbie as a silly little transitional champion. This had to be convincing. People would not be able to ignore us. As a new stable we needed the spotlight on us. The next 3 weeks saw 3 more Intercontinental title defenses. We set all of them up as matches against some of the other jobbers on Battlefield. Suzie and I made sure to manage him in each fight. If things looked too bad, we got involved to get Robbie through the match. The first on the hit list was Barry Carlisle. It was a rematch. Barry was the one that got Robbie the #1 contendership in the first place. Next was a kid by the name of Mark Tremor. The third jobber we beat was Ceaser Fist. While we were doing that, we also had to motivate people to care by diversifying the divisions we were competing in. Jamal and Will were the first to raise their hands when I brought up the tag division. Alex joined the Hardcore title division by a default. None of us were on the level to challenge for the world title. Suzie was a girl. That meant Women's title division. She was in there already.

Fans got to see Suzie and I cheat week in and week out to get those boys those hard fought wins. Alex actually could use a taser. It locked up their muscles and made it all too easy to pin opponents. Those 2 wins would come in handy. Jamal and Will got back to back wins against The Quake and Quicksilver, 2 low leveled tag teams. As the title had been defended 5 times in the span of a month, we thought that we could take a break. This was not the case. The GM was pissed off. "You've made an utter mockery of the Intercontinental Championship! The prestige has been tarnished with such low quality defenses. Since you Child Labor cretins like picking off all these easy opponents, I'll do you one better. You'll face all of them at once in a Fatal Four Way Match. It will be Robbie Ottie vs. Barry Carlisle vs. Mark Tremor vs. Ceasar Fist for the Intercontinental Championship!" he screamed. The man hated us. This was very clear now. There was nothing we could do about it. Robbie was just going to have to pull this one out. The GM would strip him if we even appeared on the wide stage.
