Really screwing them over, I simply left the building. I walked out of Optimum Drive as the 24/7 champion. At the end of the pay-per-view, the champion actually retained the world title. It also marked the end of my contract. This meant I could take it with me out of the company. Since I was leaving OPW, I would start wherever I ended up with a title belt. Liam was laughing with me. I looked at Owen, Benson and Byron. "I'm not staying here. We proved that the spotlight follows us wherever we go. You can make your own choices, but I'm not coming back for awhile." I told them. They thought about it for a bit. Ultimately, they all decided to stay. Owen liked his gimmick. He would go back down to Boom and just stay in the Television title division. Benson and Byron would lay low for a couple of months before wrestling as a tag team in their own names. With new identities, they could win a ton and climb their way back up to the main roster. They already had Hall of Fame status in the company with all of the criterion they ticked off. If Incubi was inducted as a stable, that would be good for us.
It was time to move on. After Suzie heard about it, she quit. She was a Legend in the company. Not only did she have the 3-peat Champion criterion, she also had some that I was not expecting. I certainly did not have them. As a ref, she managed to get Ratings Warrior and All Eyes on Me. Suzie was a Player. As such, she knew how to manipulate things to get 5 star matches out of the competitors. Out of the required 50 for Ratings Warrior, she got a staggering 23 in a row. That was insane. We were boyfriend and girlfriend. Now we could be together as a real wrestling couple. Now that we had the stats, we went to a B-rated company. OPW was a C-rated company. I wanted to actually be able to make something of myself. This new company was called Exciting Wresting League, or EWL for short. It had 2 main roster shows. Tuesday nights was for Battlefield Friday nights was when Rage was aired live. Unlike OPW, the EWL was a national company. We hit the road week to week wrestling all over in different stadiums. I was signed to a 3 year contract for Battlefield. It was bare bones.
