I was 19-0. I was a double champion. Because I earned it on an off week, I did not need to defend it on their upcoming pay-per-view. That was fine for me. Doing double duty would be really tough. I had been a double champion for 2 weeks. If I could survive this title defense, I would cement myself as a true Legend in OPW. I would not only be 20-0, but I would easily coast to the 4 week mark. In order to put the odds in my favor here, I pushed for it to be a ladder match. Benson and I were up against a wildcard pairing of Zippy and Zappy. They were a decent team, but they were weaker than us. We beat them up and absolutely destroyed them. I even put Zippy through a ladder. This made it so clear to everyone that the tag division was on lock. I let Benson climb the ladder as I secured it. When he pulled the belts down, the match was over. The bell rang and it was great for us. We celebrated in the ring together before going backstage. My goals were coming to fruition nicely. Now that I had 20 wins in a row under my belt, I really did not care about winning anymore. I had the big streak.

As time moved on, I coasted to the next 4 weeks. Boom only had pay-per-views every other month. I alternated between singles and tag matches. We won both the tag matches. Benson was good. I cheated to win both singles matches. This put me at a 24-0 win streak. This was amazing. Since there was no pay-per-view. I put on an impromptu Television titles match against Alvin Milton. Obviously, I squashed him in under 5 minutes. It was my first official defense. This meant I was finally able to go up to Picric. I did not take it right away. I had plans. The next week, Benson and I defeated a new jobber tag team. I then gave Benson a title shot. We went back and forth. I had to make this look good. He hit me with a finisher. I could have kicked out, but I did not do so. Taking a dive for a friend was worth it. Benson was now the big double champion. He had only won the 24/7 championship 2 times. Being the double champion crossed off the Grand Slam criterion. If we could keep both belts on his waist for the next 4 consecutive weeks, he would cross another one off. He failed the 10-0 streak.

Being a Legend in the company from our rookie year would be great. The way fans would react to us would be amazing. Honestly, our whole faction could make it. I was on the road to becoming a Hall of Famer. Even if we left the company, we could come back and be received with open arms. Both of our ladder matches were rated 5 stars. I just needed one more to become a Hall of Famer. The next 5 star win would get us the Ladder Match Master criterion. This applied to Benson as well. His position would be comfy. That was why the next defense was also a ladder match. Pet Control sent us 2 members to challenge for the tag belts. Once again, it was a masterpiece of violence all around the ring and ringside. They went through several tables and ladders during the match. Benson and I went through a couple. At the end, we had our third 5 star ladder match. Things were going great. Benson was doing great too. At the pay-per-view, I managed Benson as he fought against John Uxon. John was a very great fighter. I had to distract him and the ref multiple times to get Benson the win.
