My duties as a Sage came into play as a trio of Players came to the castle town. They wanted a hint on how to clear the dungeon in the mountain ranges. I saw that the 3 of them identical. This was because they were triplets. It was king of cute how the took up the gender spectrum. One brother was an alpha. One was a beta. One was an omega. They wanted to ask me if there was a way to change secondary genders. It was the main reason that they were here. There was a way. "Sigmas and psis can change you from alpha to omega and vice versa. They need to fuck you 3 times. Only 2 times are needed for betas. Alphas and omegas can evolve on their own. For an alpha to become a sigma, you need to top either 3 other alphas or one sigma. Omegas can evolve into psis by bottoming for either 3 other omegas or one psi." The omega did not like that. "So. I have to take 3 dicks to get rid of these buffs? That really fucking sucks." I shook my head. "Psis still have heats. You need to find a psi and fuck their ass at least twice." I clarified. They were encouraged to go. My job was done.

Now that I had interacted with Players, my tenure as a Sage finally felt real. I gave them a nice blessing. For 24 hours in real life, they had a 10% buff to the HP. This was an ability all Sages could do. Something useful to help out the actual Players was very appreciated. We had discretion on who we wanted to bless and what the blessing would be. I hoped that they cleared it. Sages who blessed a character got to leech 10% of the exp. they gained while the blessing was active. Being able to level up was nice. We also got 1% of the exp. our Protectors gained. It was how I managed to go from level 1001 to level 1093. Epsilon was a co-Sage, but all the Protectors were my creations. I implored him to make some. Epsilon made 6. That was enough to have his own honor guard. Half of them were sigma males. The other half were psi males. I did not get in the way of his decisions. I did notice that he took a lot of inspiration from how I dressed the children in the castle. They all had modern clothing. Seeing the trio of Players off, they also all wore clothes not from this setting. It was fine with me.
I was praying for their success. The dungeon was not the biggest around, but it was tricky. It was filled with undead. Unfortunately, that was all that I knew about it. I saw the log about the region. I had not gone in myself. From what I read, there were several puzzles to clear to advance. There were 5 levels in this dungeon. Some of the dungeons were over 125 levels deep. Those were very rare and they were for the most skilled Players. Most of them ranged from 10-20 levels in depth. Not all of them had puzzles to clear. Some were just for Players to explore while avoiding traps and killing hostile mobs. For the one in the mountain, not only did you had to wander around to find the puzzles, you also had to fight against progressively stronger undead monsters. It would be very tough. Once you got there, you needed to solve it as a party. If you got the wrong answer, several mobs would swarm. The mobs would all need to be killed before the puzzle can be contested again. The passage to the next level opened when the puzzle was solved. There was a boss and a few mini-bosses.
