Very clearly, they did not need any weapons. They were level 222 bosses. Anyone on the wrong side of them would be punished. For the sake of modesty, they needed a mandate to wear clothes. Instead of walking around naked, they got to have some slime based clothes. Deiro, Deishi, Dorohi and Doromaru were all the same way. That did not stop the 4 from flashing people. The clothes were part of them. If they did not want them to be solid on the outer layer of their human forms, it would not be there on their bodies. I had Tsukasa backing my decisions as the Sage, but even I knew it would be bad. Naked sigmas walking around would scandalize the populace. The sigmas were the real apex of secondary genders. Everybody, even haughty alpha males, were vulnerable to the pheromones that they could produce. Beyond that, I did not want the prestige and reputation to go down. Tsukasa was now the self proclaimed lord here. We were at war with a minor lord that had a claim to the land. The rival factions in the town were also armed. Things were unstable. We had no wiggle room.
We could only muddle through. The children were also stepping up. It was honestly touching to see. Osamu and Satoshi were young but they were also keeping order on the streets. People knew them. Osamu was tested by the rowdiest hooligans, but he stood tall. When he got serious, no one could match him. Satoshi often used his words and a bit of pheromones to diffuse tensions in the castle town. Not many people could resist his charms. It was for the best. They were both powerful members of the ruling Maruyama Clan. Defying them came at a price. They could arrest the residents. The Protectors had no authority to do so. Sages were to advise and observe. I was forced to take a hands off approach. My children old enough to patrol were also out there. Ryōsha Masato, Chiaki and Ran as well as Sukiko Sho, Kai and Jin could make a full party together. None of the could make arrests. This was yet another reason things were so unstable. The "law" was only enforced by 3 people. Everything else was vigilante justice on the streets. At most, sexual harassment got a ass beating.
X-ray powers were unique to Ichigo, Niko and Santa. This helped them track down the fleeing suspects. Even though they had no arresting power, they were not going to stop fighting until they were victorious. That meant going for a knockout in combat. They were not so bloodthirsty that they would kill someone in cold blood. Obviously, it was not every single time something happened. They did not go hostile to people for no reason. Usually, it was a douchebag alpha verbally or sexually harassing the omega male commoners. When the Protector got spooked, they would flee. If the alpha had them cornered, eventually someone on patrol would come by. If the alpha did not back down, they would get their ass beat. That was perfect in my eyes. I totally supported alphas being put in their place. Since 3 people could arrest offenders, it was hard to get everyone. Crime was not really solved beyond the vigilante justice. Other than that, things were doing fine. It wasn't like these merchant companies were filled with criminal rapists. They were just horny and gross in their attempts to get laid.
