Feeling that all of that was not enough. I made them sigmas on top of all that. Their pheromones were unmatched. Even betas could fall victim to the heavy pheromones that could cause you to exhibit heat symptoms. I just sat back as the enemies were slaughtered. There were ooze bosses, so I did not want them breeding with other denizens of the castle. We would be overrun by ooze and slime. That is why I made sure they could only reproduce asexually when a certain condition was met. That big condition was that they kill 10 hostile enemies. They each got a little over 20 kills. The Slime Lords were amorphous. This meant that they can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch wide without squeezing. Staying in melee range did passive elemental damage to you. Very few enemies escaped with their lives. There were each able to clone themselves twice. Since they were now war veterans and heroes, I had to reward them. Tsukasa asked me if there were priests here in the land. We did not. We would change that now. At every cardinal point there was now a temple to the God of Slime.
It had to be done. Ghaunadaur was a very unpredictable deity. False worshipers were sometimes rewarded by it, occasionally even with permanent magical boons, but they might just as well be devoured by the Elder Eye without a second thought. Ghaunadaur enjoyed watching large horrible monsters as they hunted and devoured their prey, causing much suffering. When Ghaunadaur left the Inner Planes he was always silent, but some old records mention a gibbering and bestial language being spoken in the god's court. When communicating, Ghaunadaur used telepathy and kept its conversations blunt and simple. Shrines and temples devoted to Ghaunadaur were just foul. Rooms were often filled with fetid smells, mists, and slime trickling down the walls that made puddles and little pools. These manifestations would be strongest around halls where sacrificial rituals would take place. The stench was so strong that others would perceive it as swimming through sewage. Ghaunadaur was technically a chaotic evil god. I balanced it out with a grand cathedral for a lawful good deity.
Giving the 2 clones of each of the 4 Slime Lords a temple in town to look after was good enough for me. It was simpler than making new Protectors to fill those roles. If I left it to them, it would serve as a prevention measure. An ooze apocalypse was not something I wanted here. The priest going rogue was a legitimate concern. It would be okay though. Deiro, Deishi, Dorohi and Doromaru were all completely loyal to me. Speaking of that, I actually still needed clerics for the new temples and cathedral. It was crucial. How else would the people get the blessings? We needed temples and churches so people could take up the cleric and paladin class. This was a Japanese setting, there was no better god to dedicate the cathedral to than Amaterasu. The twins Amaterasu the sun goddess and Tsukiyomi the moon god sat with their backs to one another. Thus marked day and night. Amaterasu caused solar eclipses as omens. Amaterasu weaved robes for fellow gods to wear. Amaterasu could illuminate any place in the world, grow plants, cure diseases, or destroy whatever she desired with her light.
