You needed to be proactive with your big plans. The commoners in the castle town were all master builders. I sent 10 of them out with the materials to make a modern, 3 bedroom log cabin home on our side of the mountain. It would be one story tall with a massive basement. I told them they only had 36 hours to build. They just looked at me, shocked by the huge request. "Are you sure, Sage?" one asked me. It was a request coming out from left field. I could admit that. "If you can't get it done on your own, recruit more of the builder Protectors to help you build it in time." I said firmly. This task was a non-negotiable one. Apparently, this meant that they needed all hands on deck. That was fine with me. The fields would not fall to ruin in a single day. I was very sure of that. As long as they got it done, it did not matter how many needed to be put to work. In the meantime, I was training in the castle dojo. I had my master sword in both my hands. He was good with a blade. I was a literal deity. Tsukasa was not going to win. I was going to make him look good in the fight. I needed him to look amazing.
I waited until midnight to meet him outside of the castle town. He had his umbrella and a dead expression on his face. Being a total badass aside, Tsukasa was perfectly ready to defeat me or die trying. "I was wondering if I was going to have to meet you in the throne room of the castle." he said plainly. I just smiled. "No, I would never do that. You are a real man of honor." Tsukasa's lips quirked up. "Not many people feel that way anymore." he said before taking his ready stance. It was time to fight. I did not want to kill him. I needed him alive for my plans. We circled each other for a bit. I smiled and waited for him to make the first strike. I sent the first in-game hours just dodging his strikes. He did not tire out because he was a trained warrior. This did not mean that he was not pissed off. "Fight me you coward!!" he screamed. I stood directly in front of him. "Fine. I will not move. If you can strike me down, do so." From that point onwards, I only blocked or parried him. We went until the afternoon until I floored him with a single big gut punch. Maruyama Tsukasa was totally exhausted and defeated.
As he was sprawled out on the ground, I sheathed my blade. I approached him and picked him up from the ground. He had done really well. Winning was an impossible outcome from the start. He knew this. It was 2:42 in the afternoon. He only wanted an excuse for keeping his honor intact. If he killed himself with honor, it would not bring as much shame on his ancestors. That still meant he had a marathon 14 hour duel. Who else could say they lasted that long against a literal god!? Bringing him to the castle was pretty easy. All of the commoners were still on the mountain. I would need to check in on them soon. It had been over 36 hours. They would have until I could bring the ronin over there. Tsukasa was laid in a bed and I waited for him to recover. When he did, I looked at him. "Are you ready to hear your task?" I asked him quietly. He was still tired. "I will accomplish it." he said after rubbing his bruised stomach. "I don't want your clan bloodline to disappear. You will take an omega I will give you. Breed him for a year and continue the clan." He was so shocked. "Bring him to me." he said.
