X-ray vision was a superpower that I gave them on top of enchanted tantos. Nowhere could be safe when they could see through walls and boulders. They had a really staggering 95% chance to cause bleed on enemies. They also had some added psychic damage on top of the regular slashing damage. It would make them immensely powerful. I made them all omega males so that there was drama among the other Protectors. With their power, they will be able to defend the settlement from invaders. I named them Ichigo, Niko and Santa. After another week in-game, the 10 samurai returned to mess with us. They were not alone. One of the younger sons of the lord came to get this money. It was an outing to build up his credibility. If things went well for them, he could use this victory as a reason why he should be the next lord. At the very least, he would be seen as a competent military commander in his clan. This was not going to end well for them. When they caused a fuss, Ichigo, Niko and Santa intercepted them. The Protectors killed all subordinates. The leaders were held hostage.
Getting them over to the castle, they would be held here until we got a big ransom from the lord. "My father will be here to burn this castle to the ground! Unhand us both before you can no longer take this back." he demanded. I just ignored him. I was not concerned about the lord. Him coming did not phase me at all. There was no way a normally spawning NPC would be able to beat any of the Protectors. Facing all 3 was simply a pipe dream. Neither of them wanted to behave. The servants and warriors had to restrain them after they tried to flee 3 times. Both of them were alphas, so they tried to use their alpha pheromones on them. It stunned the omega males for only a moment. The Protectors would then shake it off and chase after them. It never took that long to recapture them. After 3 days with no news, I decided to send Kazane and Fuuto out. "Go to the lord's castle and inform him we have his son. We want a ransom for his safe return." I instructed. They nodded and gave me toothy grins. Both left to complete their mission. I got a response by the end of the day. The lord accepted.
