It was just too hard to resist!
Sarah idly fingered the stone in her back pocket, as she thought of her next move.
She didn't initially set out to mess with Karyn, but after eavesdropping on a few of her and Paige's conversations that day, she just had to. For all intents and purposes, Karyn was fully integrated into Paige's friends, but her personality underneath was still intact. There was no way Sarah could risk Karyn corrupting Jon's total transformation. It was only a matter of time before he was her sister in mind as well as body. The way she saw it, wishing something on Karyn was like she was putting some insurance on her investment. And insurance it was, indeed.
She liked her lips in anticipation.
Popular cliques always had stereotypical roles. They were pretty easy to figure out. After the most popular one, there was the party girl, the fashionista, the easy one, and the bimbo. The party girl always wanted to go out and get wild, the fashionista, always spending all of her money on clothes, easy one can't help herself around guys, and the bimbo is usually so self-obsessed that there isn't room for much else in her head.
To essentially take Karyn out of the equation, Sarah decided that Karyn would have to have her mind busy with other things. She was going to become one of Paige's clique stereotypes. But, and Sarah was really proud of this fact, it would be Karyn, not her, who decided which one she'd be through her actions.
"I wish that whenever Karyn Black makes a negative comment about any clique stereotype, she will begin to take on that quality. At the end of the week, whichever personality is strongest in her will become her permanent personality."
That should take care of things, Sarah thought - and headed to class as a slight chill rolled down Karyn's back, from her neck to her high heels.
Was her skirt too short? She hated the chills.
And where was Paige? Karyn just had to tell her about how the morning went.
