The next day started off like usual for Jon. He got dressed in usual basic t-shirt and jeans, bickered with Zoe, he listened half-heartedly to his mom's reminders at breakfast, and headed out to school. Karyn was waiting for him outside like usual as well, although she had her arms awkwardly crossed in front of her as if she was trying to hide her new assets. She had on one of her typical green sweaters, although it was clear that it was designed for someone with a smaller chest. Her hair was done up in a basic ponytail, which in itself was still a style she never went for.

'Jon-boy", she grimaced. "Tell me you thought up a fix to my current situation!"

His shoulders dropped. "Sorry Karyn. I brought the stone just in case we come up with something while we're at school today, so we can try to fix you immediately, but nothing came to mind last night. Is it that bad?"

"Yes!" Karyn insisted. "I was able to hide things from my mom, somehow, but my clothes don't fit and I've NEVER had hair this long in my entire life. Do you know I actually had to spend time brushing it this morning just so it wasn't poofed out in every direction? This isn't a complete nightmare but compared to how things normally are, it still really sucks."

Jon reached out with a comforting hand to put on her shoulder. "We'll figure it out, I promise. In the meantime, do you want us to make it so that no one notices anything at least until we get it fixed?"

Karyn blew a few loose strands out of her face. "Yes, PLEASE. I can't keep my arms or notebooks in front of my chest all day, and I definitely can't hide this hair."

Jon reached into his pocket and pulled out the stone. "I wish that while Karyn has her longer blonde hair and larger breasts, no one besides Karyn and myself will notice anything about her hair or chest is out of the ordinary, including any abnormal clothing styles she may wear."

He felt the stone flash with brief bit of heat and looked up at Karyn. She glanced around and slowly, timidly, unsure of herself, slowly lowered her arms.

"Thanks, I guess," she muttered. "Come on, let's go. It's almost first period."

Jon and Karyn hurried inside the school. A few students among the friendlier bunch waved hi as they passed, and Karyn and Jon nodded back at them. "Looks like the last wish is working, at least," Jon offered. He dropped his things in his locker, and grabbed a notebook and pen. "See you at lunch?"

Karyn sighed. "Yeah, see you then."

Jon made it to his first period class about five minutes early. As he sat down at his desk, he looked around and saw a few of the more studious classmates pulling out the homework, and he immediately groaned. All the excitement with the stone yesterday, and then trying to think of solutions to fix Karyn's wish all night, and he'd forgotten to do the simple multiple choice homework for Ms. Bridgewater. It didn't add up to much in terms of the class grade, but he needed the easy points when they were available. He quickly ripped a sheet of paper out of his notebook and leaned over to Nelson Oswald, one of the better students in the grade.

"Psst, hey, Nelson," Jon poked him. "Let me copy the homework off you, will you? I had family stuff going on all yesterday and just forgot."

Nelson looked at him uneasily. "It's just the 10 question multiple choice, Jon. Do your own work."

"Come on," Jon pleaded. "I never ask something like this. I just forgot. I need your help!"

"No," Nelson shook his head. "I never let anyone copy."

Jon grumbled, looked at classmates on the other side - Sarah and Biff sat there, no chance in hell they'd let him copy - and then looking back to Nelson, muttered under his breath. "Never let anyone copy? I can fix that."

Jon reached into his pocket and pulled out the rock, then quietly whispered to himself. "I wish people would just let me copy off of them if I forgot or needed it."

The stone flashed hot again. And Jon immediately kicked himself mentally. Hadn't he learned yesterday from Karyn's wish without thinking? Why hadn't he thought it out at all? Actually, why hadn't he just wished that the homework was already done and correct? What an absolutely dumb wish.

And then Nelson turned back to him and glanced around. "Actually, you need it? Go ahead and copy off of me." And Nelson reached down to his sheet of paper, and in the process of handing it to Jon, seemingly pulled an exact duplicate out of the paper itself, handing the duplicate to Jon.

Jon stared. Had that just happened? That definitely wasn't what he had intended.

Nelson stared too, and looked down at the completed homework still on the desk in front of him. The original. "Wait. What? What-"

Jon quickly grabbed the rock again. "I wish people besides myself - and Karyn! - wouldn't notice anything out of the ordinary or realize anything happened because of my last wish."

The stone flashed once more, and Jon hurriedly shoved it back in his pocket. Nelson shook his head like he was coming out of a daze. Jon flashed him a smile, hoping it was enough. "Hey, thanks Nelson, I appreciate it."

Nelson looked confused. "Um, yeah, sure. No problem. Any time you forget or need it." He turned back to the front.

Jon sighed. That was two stupid wishes in a minute. Karyn was going to give him hell about this. He was going to give HIMSELF hell about this. He quickly copied Nelson's work - except for Nelson's name at the top, of course - onto his own sheet of paper. At least the homework was taken care of. Hopefully he could keep things under control because of these wishes for the rest of the day, at least until he could figure out how to undo THESE wishes, too.
