The recently divorced Lake Point High School janitor, Brian Wilson (the son of the former Gretchen Wilson), 42 year-old, arrived in front of the girls’ bathroom for the daily cleaning. He arrived shortly after Bethany and Gillian had left. The cleaning was done between classes so as not to disturb the students. He placed the plastic A-frame “Closed for Cleaning” sign outside. He entered the bathroom and began his cleaning routine. As he started cleaning the different sinks, he saw a makeup compact (who had apparently been forgotten by Bethany.). He picked it up to place it in the lost and found. The moment he took it in his hands, in the blink of an eye, instead of his janitor’s clothes, he was now wearing...
He was now wearing an open oversized shirt, wide-leg jeans, a white crop top, and chunky sneakers. A smartphone vibrated in the back pocket of his jeans. He pulled out the device, which was covered by a butterfly flower aesthetic glitter design case.
The contact displayed “Mom.” He opened the message:
“Hi sweetie, Mrs McKay sent me a message. The schedule has changed. They’re expecting you for babysitting at 6:30 PM.
Love you!”
What were these clothes? And this message? His mother never texted him like this, and he had never babysat anyone in his entire life, let alone at his age. Of course, he had... How old was he again...?
