People were happy with the education provided. Like I had said, many of the people taking classes began to change their attitude about learning and their own place. It was nice to see. Some applied themselves to clerk jobs and doing accounting or transcribing. Seeing the vision now, Count Swiftheart chartered a new school to be built in Huntston. Education was important. He also put in the edict stating that all boys should train with the sword and bow from a young age of 5. The Swifthunts were not pleased to hear of the establishment of the bishopric of Greene. Gerald White was installed as the bishop there. They had not grown out of their bigotry against albinos. It did not make sense to me, but I was not going to pry. It was clear that this view was based in their religion. I got a letter from Gerald asking me to attend a Mass he would be celebrating. I could not say no as one of his few friends in the world. He was actually one of the few that I had too. Aside from the centaurs, Betan and Raolin, I did not have many people I was close to who were not in my direct family. It was too sad.
Due to their status as knights-errant, all the children had no liege. I decided it was time to go to the capitol. We could get a lot of fame and money by winning. They had a plethora of skills to do well. Stopping in Huntston, we all picked up a lonely Cody and Brody. Raolin had knighted them. That was a surprise. Both of them were eager to come along. I saw that they had some scars across their bodies. Raolin was pretty neglectful towards them. I made sure that my children learned in a safe environment. I actually loved Leonardo, Lennard and Lennox. Making the trek was easy for us. We were all martially trained and armed to the teeth. Bandits did not even bother with us on the roads. They knew it was not worth the risk. When we made it to the capitol, I had to find places for us. I had permission to use the Swifthunt property. That would not house most of us. There were some stables willing to take the centaur knights in luckily. It was their business to house and groom horses. For double the price they charged, they could stay. I went to the tournament grounds. A qualifier was underway.
