Personally, I did not mind it. It was none of my business if Oscar liked Noah. Noah was a merfolk with a job. Certainly, he could handle someone having a crush on him. I was wrong. Oscar was not just "someone". He was someone who cooked up meth and crack for a living. Oscar dragged us to the aquarium every Saturday so he could see Noah's show. The other merfolk were fine with it because the place was so damn big. They could focus on a new exhibit every time they came and not get bored. If it was so simple, I would have no problems. Oscar made it a problem. When Noah got out of the staff only room, Oscar cornered him. He was a huge dork, so he had nothing to say. Noah smiled at him and tried to excuse himself. "Don't go yet!" Oscar yelled before slamming his arm by Noah's head to keep him in place. Noah was stunned and could only nod. Nervous tears pricked at his eyes as Oscar began to cup his face. Noah had no clue what was going on. That was when someone ran up to him. It was Noah's human cousin. They argued for a bit before they left Oscar behind.

It was pretty concerning. Noah did not like to be touched by humans. The difference in average body temperature felt uncomfortable on Noah's skin. Being carried by his cousin seemed to come to a shock to him too. When he saw me and the other merfolk, his face it up. He waved at us as he was carried away. Noah's cousin flipped the bird at Oscar. I went up to Noah to berate him. This was not okay. It was good that it was not security that broke this up. He might have gotten banned. "I don't know what happened to me. I just wanted to ask him out! I wanted things to be perfect." he said to me. I blinked. "That was far from perfect." I remarked. He crouched down in shame and turned away from me. Oscar huffed and said "Something happened when I saw him! He was so cute and I lost all the things I wanted to say to him. This is so embarrassing!" He was beating himself up over it. I was not going to take my chances though. He was not a good person. "You need to chill out. We didn't get kicked out here, so you can come back. Next time, apologize and keep your hands to yourself."
