Jon was trying to do his homework, but his stupid Goth sister Sarah was playing her music way too loud again. Why couldn't she be normal like his other sister Zoe? Well, more normal, anyway. It was great, growing up with his fraternal twin sister Sarah, but maybe her going down the Goth path might have been influenced by Jon. Accidentally influenced, that was. Because they had so much in common, Sarah was more tomboyish than the other girls, making her kind of an outcast. Then she met up with other outcasts, like Lily Underwood, who was a Goth. Sarah and Lily became friends right away and stayed friends until Lily had to move away a few months ago. Now, Sarah was the only Goth at the high school.
Sarah looked around her gothic black-colored bedroom and listened to her death metal music. She had this strange idea that something was wrong, but then just shrugged it off and continued to paint her nails black.
Unknown to her, Sarah Merlin used to be Sarah McMillan. No one, except for Trevor and Randy, remembered Sarah McMillan. The McMillan family had no children. But now, the Merlin family had a new daughter - Sarah.
All the wishes in the wish chain were granted by the stone, ultimately, so it was the stone which decided how wishes should be granted. And in this case, the only other girl who was at Jon's house was Sarah McMillan. So it changed Sarah into Zoe's (and Jon's) sister. There was now a noticeable hereditary similarity in her looks, compared to the rest of the Merlin family. But she still retained her blond hair and large breasts. Well, her natural blond hair. At the moment, she had her hair dyed black.
Trevor never wished that Zoe would have a Goth sister, but the stone thought it would be appropriate (almost like it had a mind) for Sarah to become like the original Zoe. It just wasn't right for there to be absolutely no Goths at Jon's school. Plus, it was Sarah who got rid of the Goths in the first place. The stone had no sense of revenge. But it seemed fair. Almost like poetic justice.
