All the titles were going to be on the line. Knox opened the show with a win. It was his second 5 star table match. When the other Aces came down to help Griffin, all the members of Police Box charged in and set things straight again. A couple of matches passed before we beat Raphael Phoenix and Zion Haven. It was not easy for us, walking in with some damage from Knox's match, but we got the job done. Police Box was the head of the tag team division on Picric. The Women's Championship was on the line next. When that was over, Jax had to challenge Azure for the OPW International Championship. It was a back and forth match. I honestly could see it going either way. Azure went for a Blue Swipe. It was his finisher, a fast as lightning roundhouse kick to the temple. Jax ducked, but the referee was knocked out. Jax hit his finisher on Azure and pinned him. The champion was out cold. No referee meant that the pin could not be counted. Jax should have won, but he had to wake up the ref who rolled out of the ring. That was when Grayson ran out. Dash intercepted him on the ramp.
Jax was saved from the interference, but he still had to get the referee back up and into the ring so he could win the title. It took him some time, but he got the referee in the ring. Jax covered Azure and the referee counted. It was far too late though. Azure just kicked out at 2.9. The crow went wild. The match was not over. Challenger and champion went back and forth for another 5 minutes. Eventually, Jax was laid out flat by the Blue Swipe. The champion collapsed to the mat from using the last of his strength. Jax kicked out at 2 from pure instinct when Azure finally crawled over and covered Jax's chest with a single arm. Jax won 8 minutes after that when he hit his finisher a second time. Dash ran down to the ring to celebrate with Jax. This was Jax's first brand singles championship. Things were going well until Dash pulled Jax in for a kiss. This was a pay-per-view in front of a packed arena. Jax was lost in the moment and kissed Dash back. It was all over. Knox and Rex were watching this take place from backstage alongside me. They could not believe it. Both of them were really pissed.
Knox and Rex put themselves in the hotseat with their mom, leveraged their own relationships with her and hurried to settle with stable girlfriends, all for Jax. It was not a surprise when the cell phone in Knox's duffel bag began to ring. The boys looked over at it with faces full of dread. "Do you want me to answer? I can say that you aren't here right now." I offered. Knox took the phone and gave it to me. "Hello?" I answered. "Where the fuck is Knox!? It need to talk to him!" she yelled. "Sorry, but Knox walked off to the bathroom a bit ago. Can I take a message?" I said calmly. "Well, one of my sons is a fag! I need to speak to the others." she said before hanging up on me. I just rolled my eyes. "Just text her in about 5 minutes." I said. That was when Rex's phone rang. He had to answer. All we could hear was Rex's side of the tense conversation. Rex was trying hard to calm her down. "I-I saw... it too, mom." "I'm not-" "I don't know why-" "He told us that he wasn't dating him!" "No, that is not true!" He was really getting stressed. "I gotta go, mom! I'll call you later. Love you." he said as he hung up.
