Personally, I thought that it was absolutely vicious. This put the guys who I called my friends in a new light. Blood was everywhere. The announcement team had to make repeated apologies to the audience for the disturbing display they were forced to watch. It was a small mercy when Rex and Jax put Matthew Joy through the table set up in the ring with a double chokeslam. Nathan was face down in a pool of his own blood. He was out cold. The man could do nothing to help Matthew. Unfortunately, this was not the end of the match. This was, by their own request, another Table Eliminator match. Both partners of a team had to go through a table to end it. That was when things took an even darker turn. Jax and Rex took out their handcuffs. Jax bound Nathan's wrists. Rex cuffed up his ankles. They then rolled Nathan's limp body to the ring apron. Once the brothers were on the apron, the pair took Nathan by the arms and legs and began to wave his body up and down. They treated this man like he was a wet blanket straight from the dollar laundry machine. Everyone was stunned by this.
Even I wanted to turn away from the disgusting disregard for human life happening before my eyes. Knox was also looking concerned. "He's had enough god damn it! It is not a damn game! Someone's got to do something! He needs medical attention. Somebody has got to stop this!!" one of the announcers yelled from the desk. The other one screamed "You sons of bitches!! He's chained up like a damn prisoner of war! That's a human being. These damn corrupt cops are going to kill him!" When the flexing was over, it was time to finish this. They themselves were getting tired of this. As Nathan's body reached the peak of the arc they were making, they tossed his body down to the table set up at ringside in front of the announcer's desk. He was 10 feet in the air when he started to fall. Because they only had a 3, sometimes there were snags when using weapons. Nathan did not go through the table. The table buckled and collapsed when the left leg gave way from the impact. His back bounced off and he fell face first on to the thin mat covering the concrete with a sickening thud.
The match was still not over. The announcers were screaming for medical help to see Nathan, but none would come. It was the rules set out by the management. The children were screaming in horror. Nathan was not moving a muscle. He had not been moving for some time now. Still, the show must go on. Jax and Rex reset the table. There was a crack running down the center from the impact. Jax and Rex then did an assisted powerbomb through the table. It broke this time. Nathan's body was twisted in the halves of the wood. That was finally the end of the match. The OPW medic team rushed down the ramp to attend to them. It took a full minute in all the chaos for Jax and Rex to be announced as the winners. They celebrated in the ring with the belts. The brothers were now 2 time Boom Tag Team Champions. The look of joy and satisfaction was almost perverse considering what just happened in order to win it. When they came backstage, they looked like murderers. They were totally covered in red blood. Both theirs and their opponents'. They were barely able to stand.
