One was an anomaly. Twice was proof. Every single student began screaming and running for the school doors as fast as their legs could carry them as they saw a flock of clothing begin to descend toward them at top speed, flying through the air.
Not everyone could run as fast as others. Jay Duncan was slammed to the ground by a blue and gold cheerleading uniform, while nearby, Leonard Drullers was under attack by a white miniskirt that was able to overpower him easily...not that it was difficult to overpower Leonard.
Seeing two students, even two of the least popular boys in school, felled by such an attack turned fear into absolute pandemonium, students flooding toward the doors. It was still early, and only one of the set of double doors was unlocked. These were solid metal doors, with only a tiny glass window. Rosemary Finch was surprised to see scores of students running panicked through the door. "What is GOING on?" She exclaimed. "Everyone calm down...stop running before someone gets hurt."
No one listened to her, as they continued running in terror, forming a logjam at the door. She quickly unlocked the other door and threw it open, fearing some kind of accident.
She barely had time to assess the scene before multiple articles of clothing slammed into her at such speed the velocity knocked her back inside, her glasses knocked off her face and sliding across the floor as the clothing enveloped her.
Somehow, no one got trampled, as the clothing seemed to keep pulling them out of the way of running students as it attacked.
Jon and Karyn pulled the doors closed when the flood of students abated...with some of them having escaped into the building to safety, but several still outside, struggling with the suddenly aggressive clothing. Jon looked through the tiny window and saw someone in a letterman jacket beating back pieces of clothing before several pieces took him down in a coordinated attack.
The littered remains of clothing pulled off the stunned victims were strewn around on the grass.
