Under the right circumstances, I could be a real love interest for Oswin. I just did not take it. Oswin was clearly not interested in a human lover right now. I really had to strongarm him into making a hybrid child. Oswin looked at her and smiled. "You should go home. I need to close up." he said. She frowned. "I don't mind waiting here. It's not going to take long with all of you doing the work. I also want to get introduced to your friends." she said. Oswin looked at a loss. He probably wanted to discuss some clan business. I smiled and said "My name is Brianne. Oswin and I met a long time ago. I'm something of an investor. He had potential, so I got him a good start." She smiled and said "You never told me that you had friends with money Ozzy." I smirked at him. "What a whimsical nickname. I might need to borrow it." "Not if you value all your teeth in your mouth." Oswin said with a smile that promised violence. I did not want to push his buttons. Not right now, anyway. Oswin pointed to 03 and 04. "These are friends that I made more recently. They don't like giving up their names." he said.
Xylophone charms went off. It was her phone. Greta answered it after digging it out her pocket. After a few minutes, she got up. "I'm sorry. It looks like my parents need me. My brother and I will be gone for the week." she said. I was a bit surprised. "I hope everything is doing well with your parents." I said. Her head turned to me. "Oh!? I don't... Yeah. They're fine. I just need to see them now." she said quickly after trailing off. Greta kissed Oswin on the cheek. Oswin watched as she left with her brother. In the very second that they were confirmed to be off the property, Oswin looked at his clan members. "Shut down for the night. I need to talk to Brianne. I'll take her to my home." he said. I took the newcomer by the arm. "He's coming too. I did not do all of this work for you to throw him away." The newcomer looked surprised that I was now sticking up for him. Oswin rolled his eyes. "Fine. I'll breed him, and then we will get down to business." he said. That was for than fine with me. The 3 of us left. 03 and 04 were not too far behind us. I sighed. "They are definitely going to ambush me later."
Very quietly, they stalked us. Oswin was not going to get involved. He did not care what 03 and 04 wanted to do with me. Once we got to his apartment with Greta, he let us in. We got to look around a bit. It was a standard studio apartment. Greta was broke and Oswin had no need for a ton of space. A living room, kitchenette and small bathroom was big enough for them. They had a queen sized bed with a wooden nightstand. On said nightstand, there was a photo of Greta and Oswin. She was still in her stage costume. I also knew that she had some mods in. It was evident from seeing her at the club. Oswin was not. He was a shapeshifter with his nanites, so it made sense that he would not. She was clearly teasing him. Oswin was not too amused by it at the time the photo was taken. He was fine with having it up on the nightstand. It did not make sense that he would want to kill her. "Why do you need to kill Greta and her brother? You clearly like the company." I asked. He just looked at me. "Greta and Gerry are not needed for the next stages." he said. "But, it could make it better."
