Looking me right in the eyes, he glared at me. "You won! You beat that human. Why did you heal him and why would you let him act like he won!? It makes no sense!" he demanded. I was a bit surprised. "Does it really matter to you that much? I had a whim and I followed it. Maybe I'll use Brian in a scheme later." I said to him. He did not like that answer. 03 spat "He's an inferior male. Even when compared to the humans we killed, he would lose to them with 93% certainty." It made me smirk. "Then you admit that he could win 7 out of 100 times. Maybe I can train him to be a much better fighter one day." I said teasingly. "You can't be serious!" 03 snapped. This was pretty odd. I did not get why he was getting so upset right now. "Why are you getting mad? We all won." I asked. He stepped into my personal space bubble. "I am getting upset because you are putting inferior humans on your level. I hate it. You won't let me be above you in anything! Why does that human get the honor!?" he growled. This was typical. 03 was a Conqueror. He wanted to be Brian. 03 was jealous of a human.
You really could not make this up. I simply smirked at him. "This is a really cute side of you. Brian made you jealous." I told him. His eyes widened in anger. If we were not in public right now, he definitely would have flashed his armor plating to show his rising aggression. "That filthy human has nothing that I want. Even if he did, there is nothing he has that I could not take for myself." he hissed at me. It was time to call his bluff. I shoved my thigh between his legs and leaned in to whisper in his ear. I just asked "Really!? Imagine it. What would it feel like if I was the one bowing to you as you got to celebrate beating me in front of this many people?" Even though his sexual upgrade was not engaged, his stance widened a bit. He definitely wanted that on a deep, carnal level. "See!? What you're upset about is that Brian has my respect and it doesn't bother me to show it. If it was you getting that treatment, you'd be rock hard and ready to blow half of your tank in your pants." 03 shoved me back. "I'd never malfunction like an inexperienced human. You are not that enticing visually." he said.
Really pushing 03 was not something I wanted to do. I gave him an incredibly condescending look and said "Sure, 03. I believe you believe that." Turning away from him sharply, I went up the stairs. 04 was there. "What was all that about!? You let a human take your glory." he said. I shrugged my shoulders. "This was sprung on me last minute. I didn't really care about it that much. He looked like the whole crowd was behind him, so there was no harm in letting them cheer for one of their own." I said. A sigh could be heard from the sofa. Oswin was sitting with his bandmates. His lover was laying across his lap. She looked totally at ease. Oswin did know how to pile on the charm when he wanted to get into the good graces of a human. I was not going to tell her that Oswin's plan was to kill her as soon as the child was born. That was a very dumb move. "You look like you had fun, Brianne." he said nonchalantly. "I did have fun. Thank you for inviting me. The surprise was worth it." I said. Oswin did not say anything else. I looked at the newcomer. He looked very miffed at Oswin's lovers.
