"Mary .... Mary, wake up ....."
Mark struggled to stay asleep, but the caller persisted in asking for Mary. He didn't know who this Mary person was, but he hoped she would get up soon so that the annoying person calling to her would just go away. It sounded like she was right next to him.
"Mary ... get up ... " hissed the voice in his ear.
Mark turned over in bed and tried to hide his head under the covers. He felt a sharp pinch on his buttocks. He immediately woke, sitting up in bed and rubbing his sore bottom.
"Hey! What gives!" said Mark angrily.
The tall blonde girl sitting on his bed put her finger to her lips.
"Shhh! Do you want to wake the whole cabin? Or do you not want to change?" asked Anna, holding up the medallion for Mark to see.
Mark's eyes went wide.
"Of course I want to change, " whispered Mark. "But you didn't have to be so mean. That really hurt."
Anna chuckled. "You are just like Kate. That was the only way I could ever get her to wake up. You couldn't stay awake for me? It's not that late. It's almost like.... well, like you are little kid."
Mark blushed. He had been trying to stay awake. But he felt exhausted and couldn't keep his eyes open. He was acting a little too much like a child and it was starting to make him nervous.
"Let's just get out of here and do it," said Mark as he hopped out of bed.
Anna chuckled again.
"What?" asked Mark.
"Sorry, but you are just so adorable. I love those pajamas," said Anna.
Mark blushed red as he looked down at the silly cartoon animals decorating his childish sleepwear. He stomped away towards the cabin door, trying to hide his embarrassment and look mature. But to Anna it looked cute, like a child trying to imitate an adult. She quietly followed Mark out the door, unaware they were being watched by....
