Karyn's slacks were gone, replaced by a skirt and much more fashionable shoes. She also was wearing much more noticeable makeup, something Karyn barely wore. Sarah made an angry noise, half convinced that this was some sort of trick. But how could it be. This was impossible. Karyn looked almost like someone she would associate with.
"Seriously, Sarah...I want this to stop...I mean, look at me..."
"You look halfway decent for once. I mean...no one is going to pay attention to you as long as I'm the head cheerleader." Suddenly, Sarah's bag vanished from her hand. She stared at it.
"Sarah..." Karyn said, trying to sound calm, suddenly realizing that Sarah seemed to be triggering things. "Shut the fuck up right now...Don't say another word about this..."
"You don't tell me to shut up..." Sarah said. "I'm the most popular girl at Lake Point High School and you're just...a nobody..."
It was equivalent to training an bot...refining the original instruction with new information. To fulfill the wish and ensure Karyn got the attention:
- Karyn had to dress a certain way
- Sarah couldn't be the head cheerleader
- Karyn couldn't be a nobody, she had to be popular...the apparent opposite of a nobody.
With those clarifications in hand, it calculated the simplest fix to address the issue and implemented it.
And Sarah stumbled. She looked down and saw she was wearing an unfamiliar pair of well worn, yet comfortable looking sneakers.
