"Les, didn't you say it wouldn't work if a girl was pregnant?" asked Kiki.
"I can't be pregnant, my period started 3 days ago," said Staci.
Leslie felt uncomfortable talking about menstruation, but he replied hesitantly, "It also doesn't work if a woman is having her monthly."
Lila laughed, "Les can't say period" causing the other girls to laugh, even Staci.
"I'll be done in 1-2 days which kinda kills the weekend. Shucks, I was hoping that I wouldn't be bleeding this weekend. Anyway, it would be weird being the only girl with a bunch of hot guys. So, I guess I can't go," Staci said dejectedly while taking off the medallion.
Lila looked at Leslie before offering, "You don't have to be the only girl. Les can change so you have company."
"No, that wasn't part of the deal. We can all crash here and leave whenever Staci is....done."
"We can't sleep here, there isn't enough space or bathrooms for 6 people. Besides, we already have plans and we can't get refund on the Airbnb."
"Well, we can drive to the Airbnb and go from there," countered Leslie.
"Then she will still be the only girl," said Amber.
"please?" asked Tammi and Kiki. They tried to make the same eyes they would as girls, but it just looked weird.
"I don't want to be the only girl, and I'll change into a guy as soon as I can," pleaded Staci. Her request worked on Leslie, who picked up the medallion and went into his room. After closing the door, he took off his clothing and put on the medallion. He touched the now all to familiar dress to it and felt the zap. He didn't want to take the chance of altering the change, so he waited until he change was done before taking off the medallion and putting it in plastic its plastic bag. He got dressed in his usual sweatpants and hoodie before switching out some of things for his 1-2 days out of town. He left the bedroom and put his bag with the others, turning around to Staci giving him a hug and saying "I owe you one, Les."
The 4 guys carried the bags to the car, except for Leslie's. He insisted that he carry his own. They put the bags into the truck of Leslie's car and Lila's before pulling out to head to the Airbnb. Tammi and Kiki were in Leslie's car, talking about how weird everything felts, from the seatbelt sitting anywhere across their chest to the angle of the view out the window. Staci listened interestedly, but sometimes commented how she felt like she was missing everything. The two guys in the back seat tried to be supportive of Staci's situation. The trip lasted exactly as long as the gps said it would, since they were going the speed limit so they wouldn't get pulled over. Leslie remained quiet for most of the trip, except when asked directly if something the girls turned guys were experiencing was normal.
The crew unloaded the car and set up shop in the 4 bedroom house. Tammi and Staci shared a room, as did Kiki and Amber. Leslie put his duffle on the single bed in his small room. After using the restroom, he went downstairs to listen to the 4 men talk about how nice it was to pee standing up.
"I hope I get to try that tomorrow..." whispered Staci into Leslie's ear.
"I hope to do it tomorrow too," replied Leslie. After everyone was ready, they took an uber using Staci's account to the local bar where the 6 of them got a table. A waitress came over and took their drink orders.
"Did you see how she looked at me?" asked Amber.
"I think she likes how you look," answered Kiki.
"They aren't the only ones," said Lila, "Look a couple tables away. The group of 4 girls definitely like what they see. We caught their eye on the way in."
"The guys at the bar seem to be checking out Staci and Les," observed Kiki.
"Maybe they are checking you guys out, " countered Staci. The waitress returned with their drinks, 5 appletinis and 1 beer. Lila insisted on a toast "to trying something new." Leslie took a sip out his bottle after everyone tapped glasses. After the appletinis came darts, then shuffleboard. The girls Lila noted asked if they could challenge the 4 guys to a game. Leslie stayed at the table with Staci's purse, since she tagged along. The 4 others were excited they could fit everything into pockets. While watching them play, one of the girls came up to Leslie.
"Hey girl! My friends and I wanted to check with you and Staci to make sure we aren't stepping on any toes. Are you dating or interested in any of those guys?" asked the girl gesturing at the large group playing shuffleboard, currently watching Kiki juggle 3 pucks.
"Nope, not interested in any of the guys," answered Leslie.
"Gotcha, thanks. Come on over if you want!" said the girl before going back an whispering in the ear of one girl then another. Two of the girls took Amber and Lila to the pool table, while another one chose some songs in the jukebox. Leslie ordered another drink shortly after he finished his first one. When the waitress came back to drop off the second beer, she stopped for a moment to talk to Leslie.
"Looks like your boyfriend is making a new friend."
"Ma'am, I don't have a boyfriend."
"Then what are you staring at the blonde one for? What are you and the other girl here with those guys for?" asked the waitress.
"We are all just friends out for a night, ma'am, that's all."
"Well, they sure are having a good time."
"The guys seem to be," replied Leslie taking a sip. The waitress went back to behind the bar to grab food for another group. Lila held up her hand and the waitress came over. Lila was ordering food for everyone, including the new 4 girls. Over the next hour the games progressed to hanging out, then finally shots. The shots lasted for another hour, before Leslie told his group it was time to leave.
"Staci, time to call the uber, it's time to go," said Leslie
"A couple of us are going to leave with our new friends. We will get a ride back later," replied Lila. Leslie glared at her before saying, "That's not what we agreed on, Lila."
"We agreed we would leave the bar when you said we would. We are leaving the bar at the time you said we would."
"Wow, no wonder you are pre-law," cheered Amber offering a high five, which Lila took. Leslie shook his head, as the girl that talked to him before mouthed "sorry" before the girls, Lila, Amber and Kiki left. The uber arrived and picked up Tammi, Staci and Leslie. Tammi and Staci were chatting on the way back, talking about how much they were looking forward to a good night's sleep. They went up to their room and each went to a bathroom to clean up for bed. Leslie sat down and turned on the TV to watch the most recent "The Great British Bake Off" to distract himself. Between contestants making scones, he throught about Lila and what she did. They agreed to some ground rules, and she was already flaunting them. Maybe he should drive home with the medallion and not let her use it. Then the nice guy part of him thought that could be dangerous, as shown by what happened to him, so he decided he wouldn't keep the medallion from the others. While the nice Leslie was in charge, he also realized how excited the girls were to be guys, so they were probably seeing what that was like. Then Leslie wondering how far would they go? The girls they were with wouldn't know that Amber, Lila and Kiki were girls. If they hooked up, would it be any different if they were guys before the medallion? He started to get a headache from the ethical ramifications of having a powerful magical artifact. He decided it was time for bed. Turning off the TV, he stretched and walked to his room to overhear Tammi's voice day, "You know I'd totally touch it for you if you had one."
