Jon woke up the next morning refreshed and ready to enjoy his weekend. After washing up, he went downstairs to have some cereal and check his text messages while his mom was finishing her breakfast of cottage cheese and berries. Karyn texted him that she was looking forward to tonight.
"Mom, can I borrow the car tonight so I can pick up Karyn?"
"I figured you'd ask. Just fill the gas tank when you are done. Where are you going with her?"
"Somewhere fancy, like that asian fusion place downtown."
"That's pretty expensive, Jon. Do you have the money?" asked his mom
"I sure do. I've been saving. Thanks for letting me use the car," replied Jon as he finished and rinsed out his bowl. He went upstairs and grabbed the stone, to get things ready for tonight.
"I wish that Karyn and I had a reservation at 'You see Sushi' for tonight at 7pm." He felt it get warm and checked his phone, noting the reservation.
"I wish when I got into the car tonight to pick up Karyn, there would be a free bouquet of roses on passenger seat. I wish that I owned a suit that would be perfect for tonight." The stone warmed up twice. Jon looked at his closet and found a suit. He grinned. Tonight was going to be a good night. He looked out the window and checked his phone, and it looked like a good day. A good day to go into the woods and read for a few hours, letting items show up every hour. He was about to head out when he got a text from Sarah.
"Hey perv, give me back my socks. I can't believe you stole them out of my locker. You have til noon to drop them off at my front door and apologize."
Jon was amused at the text, realizing that she basically invited him over. He had a few hours before noon, so he grabbed a book and the socks to put into his backpack. He went downstairs and grabbed a snack and his water bottle before going to the woods. He reviewed his harem screen and saw Jessi and Karyn looking like they were having a conversation. His mom looked like she was reading a book and Zoe was still asleep. "I do have them,Sarah. May I come in?" asked Jon, nonplussed. Sarah rolled her eyes and gestured for Jon to come into the home.
"So? Where are they?" asked Sarah as the butler left.
"In my backpack, where do you want me to put it down so I can grab them?"
"Come with me," replied Sarah going up the main stairs. He was led to what could only be Sarah's room. It was as big as his and his sister's room combined, and was full of ornate furniture, including a full vanity. Jon could peak into a walk-in closet. The whole room was immaculate. She sat on her king bed with her hand out, then rolled her fingers. Jon put his backpack on the vanity and took out the socks. He tossed them to Sarah. It was that moment Sarah's father walked through the door.
"Hello, who's this Sweetie?" asked Mr McMillan
"This is Jon Gibson, and he was just leaving!" said Sarah angrily.
"Well Jon, you heard Sarah, I'll walk you out." said Mr Mcmillan tapping Jon on the back.
