"Mom?" Zoe asked, not quite believing what she was seeing.
It was her mother, but she totally Goth now. Black corset over a ripped fishnet shirt, a frayed black miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and a pair of knee-high black buckled boots with 3-inch stacks. Around her neck was a spiked collar, on her lips was black lipstick, around her eyes was black eyeliner, her hair was dyed black with blue highlights, and there were piercings in her ears, nose, and one in her eyebrow.
Her mother would never intentional dress up like this. She even hated the fact that Zoe dressed up like that. What was happening?
"Dinner will be ready in another hour," she simply said, then walked down the hall towards the stairs, as if everything was normal.
Zoe watched her until she turned the corner, then she went back in her room.
"What's going on?" asked a very confused Zoe.
