Jon knocked on Karyn's front door and shortly after, Karyn opened it. "Jon, you sounded almost hysterical on the phone. What's wrong?" she asked.
"The stone's missing. I think Sarah took it. I need your help to get it back."
"What stone? Jon, what are you talking about?"
"The wishing stone, obviously."
Karyn looked confused. "Wishing stone?" she asked, as if Jon was making it up.
Jon's eyes went wide. Whatever Sarah wished for, apparently Karyn was also affected by it. She no longer knew about the stone. This was bad. Very bad.
When Zoe continued to surf through Goth sites, she noticed that there were a lot more than she remembered. But it wasn't until she went to Google that she noticed that something definitely weird was going on.
