We waited in silence. I didn't feel like talking, especially since I knew what i wanted to say would draw even more attention to Zoe and I.. As for Zoe, she was livid. It wasn't the first time, of course, she had been called a freak, and i knew it wouldn't be the last, but for some reason, this particular time, it really got to her. She spent the waiting period flicking her right hand. To others, it was the weird goth girl playing with her talons, but to me, I knew she was trying to test out her magic. Unsuccessfully. After ten minutes, the pizza was ready and Zoe grabbed the box. Much to my relief, since the stares were also directed at me. I followed Zoe as quickly as my new heels allowed me.

"Stupid bimbos" Zoe growled, as we were halfway home. It also signaled that she thought it was safe to talk.

I tried not to roll my eyes. Goths weren't exactly high on the popularity ladder, and the look she had forced onto me, and matched for herself were somewhat extreme. "What did you expect, Zoe?"

"I wanted my pretty sister to be comfortable" Zoe said.

"Comfortable?" I spat out. "Do you have any idea how red my face must be?"

"Which is covered. We both know everyone there only saw a pretty goth girl, Anna" Zoe countered.

"We got lucky, Zoe" I spat out. I had enough of my attire that Zoe had forced onto me. While I was at the mall, my focus was on preventing anyone from recognizing me. Even though I knew that I was technically a girl, there was surely enough of me for people to recognize. Now that I was released from that worry, a worse one confronted me. For some reason, my clothes, especially the shapewear seemed to feel more comfortable somehow, as if was designed for my body. I knew i had to get them off, fast. As soon as we got home, I quickly unzipped my boots and tossed them aside.

"Joanna. It wasn't that bad" Zoe said, with a slight smile. "Or are you just doing that to make me smirk? Remember, take smaller bites...."

I glared at her. "You don't understand. I think I'm changing!"

"What do you mean 'changing'?" Zoe asked. "Its not my doing."

"Just help me get all this off" I growled, motioning at my dress.

"You're being paranoid, sis"

"Like you're any better! Remember your little freakout last week? And stop calling me 'sis'" I snapped. Zoe freaked out when Mikey had thought it funny to say that Zoe's blonde hair was showing.

Zoe glared, annoyed at that reminder. "I'm not eating cold pizza. If you want to pose in front of my mirror, fine with me."

"Just help me get out of this monstrosity of a dress" I demanded.

"What? Still as unathletic as ever?" Zoe half mocked as she unzipped the top part. "Happy now, sis?"
