"You are crazy!" Athena said, her hair suddenly tied into a neat bun.
"No, merely finding a way to make this school better," he said. "You'll understand soon enough."
He shooed them out of his office, leaving the two in front of a closed door. Zelda and Athena exchanged looks, noticing additional changes. Their makeup had vanished, replaced by something that someone might call more 'tasteful' and subtle. It seemed like with every second, things about them were shifting.
"We have to stop this," Zelda said.
"How...exactly?" Athena said.
"Steal that device of his?" she suggested. "He can't stop both of us."
"We need to find Zoe, quickly...and get her help," Athena said. "I mean...she's unaffected, right..." she took a step and nearly tripped. She looked down to discover she was wearing a pair of heels.
Zelda, by comparison, had a pair of flats.
They could both see articles of their attire shifting every moment. It seemed to be almost accelerating. Within moments, Athena was dressed in a black women's business suit over a white skirt, and a black skirt, a bag slung over her shoulder. Zelda was wearing a tan jacket and pants and a black top.
"You look like some kind of corporate drone," Zelda said.
"You look like some kind of Karen," Athena said.
They both headed down the hall, moving at a normal pace, despite wanting to run, trying not to attract too much attention.
