Jon awoke and noted he had full HP and mana. Looking at the clock showed it was exactly 8 hours after he went into his bed. Apparently, 8 hours of sleep allowed full recovery, but was this only in his bed or anywhere? He went to the bathroom and got ready for the day. Going downstairs, his mother was having breakfast with his dad. Jon grabbed some cereal and sat down with his parents. He noted that both of them were in a good mood, but decided not to delve further. Going back upstairs, he activated help, known that he would recover a lot of mana once classes started and he had his 5 classes with Karyn.

The rulebook updated the entry for harem to include "Collect activates when you have physical contact with someone and roll successfully." It also added the formula, which had variables for the Gamer's level, charisma, relationship with target and amount of contact, as well as the target's level, relationship with Gamer and mood. There was also a randomness modifier, which meant he had a chance to make anyone he touched into a Harem member. While he was walking to school, and rereading the harem feature, it didn't mention it was girls only.
Karyn was already at the meeting spot when he arrived. She jumped up and waved when she saw him. "I could get used to this," thought Jon. He jogged to her and held her hand. Jon looked around and observed people, noting that Biff was getting annoyed with Steve Farber for following him around so much. Classes went smoothly, with more quests provided through homework. Gym actually provided a quest of winning a race, which Jon did while Karyn was there, waiting for the girl's race. In English, Ms. Quint's ??? score when up to 20 when he handed in his homework. Over lunch, Jon and Karyn talked about his gamer status, but Jon decided to omit the part where he could have a harem now, especially since it included Karyn's mom.

The afternoon was uneventful, and they started to talk back to Jon's. Jon noted that his mana was still filling quicker with Karyn by his side. Did all of outside count as the same room? They got home and everyone except Jon's parents, who Zoe said were at work. Karyn and Jon went upstairs and finished all their homework, allowing Jon to rake in the EXP and level up. He put one point into strength, which became two after a cut scene of Jessi lifting weights in a skimpy workout outfit then zooming in on her flushed face wiping away her sweat with a towel with a "come hither" look. Areas:
While in an area, you will start either train to increase an ability point or gather materials. Areas start at level 1, but can be enhanced with the correct materials, enhancing the rate of gather or improvement. Areas have limits of number people that can be inside. Harem members will have their bonus increase while in certain areas. Areas can take damage and will not level up while damaged. Damaged areas can still be used for improvement or gathering, but will have a reduced efficiency. Areas can be repaired to allow further leveling up with the correct materials and/or quests.
Jon then looked at the areas he had available

"Karyn, I just leveled up and saw I will be able to make items and equipment! It doesn't say when, but I'll be able to make things," said Jon.
"That's great. I wonder what kind of stuff you can make. You already have potions. I hope it like household stuff. Do you think it will be weapons? I worry that if there are weapons, that means this game could have combat..."
"I was worried about that too. I have one passive skill that activates if I die. It kinda freaked me out."
Karyn put her hand to her mouth with a gasp, "Well, that means we will have to get everything ready to avoid that, right Jon-boy?" Jon nodded as he heard the door close and his mom call out that she was home. There was a run of Mikey down the hall to give a hug to his mom. It gave Jon and idea, so he left Karyn to her homework and went to give his mom a hug too.
