"The wish seems to have impacted you two first, and my method has forced the magic to stop spreading and start... compounding." Jae said, a little bit worried that they'd start panicking.
"That doesn't sound very reassuring... wait, are you just talking to us so you can see how we change next?" Joanna looked down at herself, as if she would even be able to tell what the magic did to her.
"More or less... the magic will be reinterpreted and reapplied with the solution changing its nature. T-Truthfully, I would have stopped it and saved you two if there was any way to stop it! I'll use my abilities to remember and note down the alterations... We'll still be friends, I hope!" Jae was barely holding it together. For whatever reason this type of thing never happened when you were ready.
Joanna and Karina's outfits seemed to shimmer silver and distort, with elements of the two sets of apparel being interchanged between them. Their traits averaging into a set of nearly identical huntress garments.
"Be sure to tell us anything of import, Jae!" The huntress on the left said with genuine urgency.
"Not that it's our concern... like trying to control the winds!" The huntress on Jae's right said, still refusing to take the situation to heart.
Jae dotted down the changes as best as she could, as she was used to these types of magics as filtered through the silver fluid. After her third paragraph she stopped writing and realized something fairly worrying.
"Um... what are you two's names again?"
"That's not very..." started the one
"... reassuring..." finished the other.
