Getting clients was not super hard. The firm was still in the guild system. Anna and the others could find clients from the people that submitted jobs to be solved. There is nothing they could not do. Since she was a violent crime attorney, she looked to find someone accused of a violent crime and needed defense. Anna did not need to look for too long though. There were a couple of twins that needed to get off from an assault charge. Anna called them up. They had to leave their contact info so people could get in contact with them. Because they had a building for their firm, the twins could meet Anna there instead of the guild. Their names were James and John Lio. They were alphas. That was good. People would be sympathetic to alphas. She wanted to hear the story from them. When they met, she brought them in and told them to start from the beginning. It was basic hooligan stuff. Both of them were playing basketball in the park. Some omega was walking by them. They tried to shoot their shot. They were rejected. A beta white knight that was friends with the omega saw and spoke up.

He had some very choice words to say about their behavior. Alphas did not like being challenged in any way. It was in their nature to dominate. The twins then shut him up with their fists. Obviously, anyone would call the police in that situation. Anna believed they were in the wrong here. She leaned back in her chair to think it over. Anna was the first person to decry alpha supremacy. Winning this case would clearly be furthering it. John leaned in from his chair. "So what's the plan?" he asked her. Anna said "I want to know something really quick. Why did you think it was a good idea to hit him? Violence usually isn't the answer in a civilized country." The twins looked at each other before turning back to Anna. "Well, he was calling us all sorts of slurs at the park. It was like- I don't know- talk shit get hit?" James said, although he did not sound too sure from the tone of his voice. Anna looked at John to hear his own answer next. It was important to get his side of things too. "It was like my inner alpha was telling me to." was the answer she got. Anna hummed out loud. His instincts told him.

It would normally be seen as ridiculous to a beta to rely on things like an inner omega or inner alpha. She had seen inner omegas emerge from powerful psi males. There was a subconscious entity inside them that dominated all their instincts. It could make them act much different to how they would when they were conscious and in total control of themselves. If it was true for omegas, it had to be true for alphas. Looking at them, she asked "What happens when you don't listen to your inner alpha?" she asked. Both of the brothers blinked. "You believe us?" James asked. "I know a ton of omegas. Some of them are in the law firm with me. I know inner omegas exist. What makes me curious is how it feels to not listen to an inner alpha." she answered. There was no point in lying. John scoffed. "Why the hell would I ever want to go against my inner alpha? I've wanted to be an alpha all my life. The knot coming in was the only point in my life that I've ever thought being an alpha was bad. I got over all that as soon as the pain stopped." he said. He knew what he wants and followed his instincts.
