It was an amazing ceremony. Trish's father gave her away. Chad's father did the same thing for him. Brad and Zack walked together to meet both the brides. Anna made sure that the boys all wrote out their own vows for the ceremony. It was a personal touch and it added to both the runtime and the dignity of the wedding. After the vows were read out, Anna looked at the crowd and stated "If there is any reason why these 2 couples should not get married, speak now or forever hold your peace." It was a formality. Just as she was about to continue to the exchange of rings, Jeff jumped to his feet. "They can't get married to each other! I won't accept it!" he screamed. The rest of the people gathered were shocked. Anna looked at Jeff. She sighed and nodded her head. "Step forward and raise your concerns." she said. He came forward and looked right at Chad. "Zack is not the one that cares about you, Chad Tudi! I love you more than he does. I want to be your husband." he declared. Zack growled and looked like he would attack. Anna had to do something. She was the one to officiate.
Looking at the crowd, she said "A challenge has been raised. Zack Morelli, your ability to marry Chad Tudi has been challenged. How will you answer it!?" Zack looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "My answer!? Do I even need to answer him? He's just a beta that was thrown away. Continue with the ceremony." he snapped. She looked at Chad. He had just as much right to answer to this. "Chad Tudi, your ability to marry Zack Morelli has been challenged. How will you answer this?" Anna asked him. He looked very conflicted here. By this point, he liked them both decently well. He was not in love with either of them. "Well, I don't think it would hurt anyone for Jeff to prove if he can be better than Zack." he said in a small voice. She nodded her head. "Chad Tudi has been convinced. We will now let the challenged, Zack Morelli, take the floor and determine the contest that will prove if he is worthy or not of the lovely hand of Chad Tudi." she said for all to hear. People began to whisper. Anna knew it was going to be very rough from here on out. As the officiant, she had to keep the order.
Zack had to think about it. His marriage was on the line. His honor and dignity in this country was also at stake. Being shown up and having a potential mate stolen was always rough. When it was an alpha doing it, it was a deep hit to the ego. But you could still save face by saying "the better man won". Humility had its time and place. If his finance was stolen by a beta male when he was an alpha, everyone would see him as a laughingstock. After a few minutes of thought, he smiled and addressed the gathering. "Ladies and gentlemen, I have the perfect contest for this beta interloper who thinks they can get in the way between the union of an alpha and omega. We will take a single turn fucking Chad. Whoever can fuck him the best will be the better mate for him. I'll even let him go first so he can pretend he did something well." he said to them. Chad looked shocked. She sighed and said "The gauntlet has been thrown down by the groom to be. Is the challenger willing to accept these terms? If so, we may adjourn until the contest is over." Jeff nodded his head. Anna took Chad inside.
