Fighting them in serious combat was not something I wanted to do. Johna, Holly and Molly would be going to a magic academy. I had already made my mind up about all of this. Grissell was a bit miffed that Bonnie and my sons were coming to Mansfield with us. She wanted to leave them behind. "Don't you think they would enjoy staying in Huntston?" she asked me. I looked at her. "While that might be true, I enjoy having my whole family around me as a support system." I had to think about it though. I had the main house and the guesthouse here. Someone needed to stay and watch it for us. The home we had in the capitol was in Anthony and Fabien's names. One of the servants was doing that for them. The big house in the bailey we all would move into would be nice. Lyari Olocan was a prime candidate, but I wanted him to come with us to continue teaching the girls. He had already said yes to the move. With that being the case, I would have to ask someone in town. There was someone. Barat's plate was not full. He could do it all. It was better than asking a stranger I did not know.

It was totally fine with Ottie. He actually preferred if Barat could move into the guest house. That way, he only would have to deal with Mighel while he raised his human children. I allowed it. Barat seemed to be pleased that he was being given this responsibility. He was a house steward at a very young age. He could read and write, so it would be simple to send letters back and forth. It also was not like Enetes would not be going back and forth monthly anyway. I could always ask him to stop by and look at the homes. I could also hitch a ride on his back every so often. That would be a nice compromise. We made our way through packing our things. I was thinking we got everything. Now that we were ready, I was going to get a carriage. That was when Bruiser looked at me. He whined in a canine way. When any of the boys did that, they did not feel confident about what they were going to say. "Father. I want to take my pets with us. Can I!?" I was not aware they had pets. I did not forbid it, but there was none in the house. I had never ever seen one in a guesthouse either. I nodded my head.

Going outside, we followed him to the tree line. I watched as everyone let him go in a few feet and cupped his hands over around his mouth. He then howled like a wolf. I watched as 3 wolves came around. They all nuzzled against him as he pet them. I was shocked. So was Grissell. Bonnie did not look too surprised. "When did you meet these wolves?" I asked. He said that they had been around for years. His tail was between his legs. That meant, he was lying about something. Looking at Ren and Len, it was bad. They wanted some answers here too. I asked "Are you friends with these wolves too?" They shook their heads. Boxer also looked pretty confused about all of this. Brawler, Battler did not look confused though. I decided to ask Brawler the question directly. "Did you make good friends with the wolves too, Brawler?" He looked surprised. "I... did. Battler and Bruiser too." he said after a while. That answered my question. I looked over at Grissell and Bonnie. "Can we... have 3... wolves come with us?" I asked. Both shook their heads no. Probably for 2 very different reasons. I sighed.
