"I believe we may have reached an impasse," Tiffany said.
"What seems more logical?" Melissa said. "That suddenly the four of us are acting strangely, or that the four of you want to make fun of us? Either way, it is four against four...a tie."
"We didn't make fun of you," Erika insisted.
"Who asked if we dressed in the dark?" Amber told them.
Erika and Allison looked at Jessica, the offending party.
"Well...they do," Jessica said. "I mean...it's embarrassing. I don't want to be seen with them dressed like that."
Allison looked at them. "Seriously guys....you are cheerleaders...like us. You aren't...whatever this is."
Amber paused, she seemed to almost acknowledge what Allison was saying, but then, whatever was happening to her reasserted herself, and she broke out laughing. "You should be an actress..."
Allison reached for her phone and looked around for recent photos of the four girls.
