A car pulled up outside Jon's house and honked the horn. Jon glanced out the window and saw Lindsey and a few of the other girls waving him on.
"Look, Karyn, it doesn't matter." Jon said as he turned away from the window, his cheerleading skirt flaring out around his smooth legs, and went to his Vanity and adjusted his outfit and checked his makeup. "I've got to go, maybe we'll talk about this tomorrow at school, okay?"
Karyn watched in a stunned silence as her best friend picked up a pink bad with the word CHEER written on it, and stuffed two pompoms into it, grabbed a purse and headed for the door. It looked to Karyn like there was a pair of heels in that bag along with what might have been a dress. But that didn't make any sense to her.
"Jon, wait!" she called after him "We need to figure this out!" Jon turned as he opened the front door and his stance was anything but manly as he looked at her most disapprovingly.
"Karyn, the girls are waiting for me! I've got to go. Sorry. I'll see you tomorrow!" And Jon turned on his white trainers and pranced girlishly to the waiting car. Karyn watched as he hopped into the car full of giggling girls and they sped off to the game. Karyn was thought she should go to the game, and keep an eye on her friend, and that she should definitely keep an eye on him if he was really going on a date with Biff. But on the other hand, Jon seemed to not want her help or advice, maybe it would serve him right to find out on his own he should have listened to her.
