Having this experience as a third wheel, Anna was looking at them. None of the Tudis were into him. It did not matter. Zack wanted them. In FOG, after going on 3 dates during the courting stage of the relationship, a choice to embark on an engagement quest would appear. The NPC would either find themselves in trouble and need saving, or have a specific requirement. The level of difficulty depended on the station and affection of the quest giver. It could be really easy or near impossible. Once the quest was completed, the NPC was instantly willing to propose or accept a proposal of marriage. Due to that, it made sense to be that way. You did not want some random pleb to cheese marriages with nobles or royalty by going on 3 random dates with one and then having a simple fetch quest. Anna was pretty confident it would be simple to deal with Zack. They were over 3 times as strong and were actually all dominant psi males. At the end of the cafe date, he looked at them. "I really enjoy my time with you 3. You guys aren't boring in the slightest. What do I need to have you?"
It was Chet that spoke for the boys. He was the eldest after all. "The first time we met, you wanted to mount us. Now, we're going to mount you. We'll give you 3 tries at it to be fair. If you can buck us off of you even once, we'll think about it." he said. Zack flinched back. "You... want to mount... me? You do know I'm an alpha right. You won't even be able to get started before I... knock you off of me, right?" he said in pure confusion. He did not know about what they did to Keith. Chet and Thad were certainly able to do it. He had not mounted an alpha in quite some time. On top of that, he was much more submissive than he used to be back then. Anna was not going to get in the way. She had already made up her mind. For the sake of Chet and Thad, she was more than willing to throw Chad under the bus. He achieved his dream of getting his pilot license. He was finally capable of flying a plane solo. Anna would make sure he still had the chance to fly even after getting married. Zack looked at them. This was his engagement quest. If he backed off he could not go back. He said he would.
As it was not official, he left them for the time being. Anna wanted to know what the boys planned to do. She was not going to say anything. This was practically the peak of melodrama that she had front row seats to. Brad all but browbeat them into rejecting the alpha. He was focusing on his own wedding, so he could not help more. Both alphas in the group were trying to coax them into accepting it. They were cool with them as members of a pack, but as fellow alphas, they wanted to root for Zack. Even if it made no sense. Even though they had never met him before, they told Chet, Chad and That that he sounded like a really great guy. Anna could echo the sentiment. It did not look like he was an abusive asshole. He was the quintessential rich kid. Zack was interested in them because they were not the norm. They were not boring. For someone like him, he probably had everyone he knew at his school coming to him for money or benefits from being seen near him. The 3 Tudis could not care less about his fortune. Zack was also not able to subdue them at all. Not topping. Not in tennis.
Jumping forward a week, there was nothing they did out of the ordinary to prepare for the showdown. Anna could only hope that it was a wise choice. They all met at his house at the agreed upon time. It was a really swanky loft. He lived totally alone. Anna was impressed. The story impressed her a bit less. His rich alpha parent often went on business trips. Even when they were in the city, they had a nice executive hotel suite. Zack was the bastard son of a media mogul. When he became an alpha, it was a no brainer that he would reach out to be in his life. His mother was some used up E-list celebrity. For a bit of clout and money, she signed away the parental rights and took a slot on a reality television show. The Tudis and Anna were there. Zack had a half brother in a similar position there to be his witness. Zack would suffer the indignity of bottoming for the 3 Tudis he had been courting. He had 3 chances to buck them off of him even once. As soon as he did, he would be able to marry them and they would be honor bound to agree. There really was no reason to stall any longer.
