Jobs as air traffic controllers were always on offer. Anna pointed that out before the manager could argue. That shut down the alpha male. "Fine. I'll get the paperwork for you to sign. The guild law of room and board is sacred. It doesn't mean we won't work you for every lin we can get out of you." he warned. "What does that mean?" Victor asked. The manager smirked again. "Honest work for honest pay is also a sacred tenant of guilds. That free room and the meals are factored in, so don't think you're going to get rich quick as a grunt here." he said. Anna said "That is totally fair as an exchange. Victor only had the clothes on his back and the things he could carry with him. It would be impossible for us as kids to give him a roof over his head. He will do work and rank up in the guild. Maybe when he gets a baseline of understanding how things work here, he can think about getting a license to fly and rank up even further." To become copper rank you needed to complete 5 missions, pass or fail. Victor could fail 5 missions without dying. People would not be too happy with him.

Anna was high ranked in both guilds. FOG only allowed parties of 6. There were 10 members of the group. 5 members were omegas: the Tudis and Percy. 3 of them were betas: Anna, Trish and Jeff. Quinn and Lester were the alphas of the group. Anna could only have 5 people with her on a mission she was taking for a guild. Having a party with Percy, Chet and Thad was a no brainer. They were harem members that were totally into her and did not want to fall behind due to discrimination. Brad did not want to be under her protection and preferred to just pair up with Trish to do missions. Anna did not care what he wanted. Jeff and Trish were the weakest links in the group so she wanted to keep an eye on them at all times. They rounded out the party. Chad and Brad were put out by it, but they had Quinn and Lester to help them out on missions. Being a Player, she was able to take a lot of jobs in a succession that NPCs would think was insane. She was able to rack up an insane amount of jobs at the airport during that summer. After Saturday lessons, she would take jobs too.

Due to this she had a record of 82 successes and only 4 fails where she genuinely made mistakes and messed it up. That was a total of 86 missions. She and all of her party members had a 95% rate. They were on track for the platinum rank. Jeff and Trish had failed the knowledge test. Everyone was capped at Copper Aviators until the got a license to fly. You only needed a 75% record after the 100th mission to get platinum. They lowest that they could possibly go was 82%. And that is if they failed every mission from now until the 100th on purpose. This would make them known as Gold Aviators as soon as the license was given to them. All of their parents were proud of their achievements so far. Each of them got certificates given to them by the guild master with each rank. Quinn, Lester, Chad and Brad had 56 successes in the same amount of time with the same amount of overall missions. They were at 65%. They still had time to improve, but they were not going to make platinum rank. There simply were not enough chances left to make up their averages. That was fine.
