Jon drove his mom's car to the grocery store, with Karyn in the seat next to him. He was seemingly shifting in his seat at every bump and turn, still trying to get used to the different feelings down below. Karyn had given up the path of small talk, as she was able to read Jon's discomfort.
She asked him if he thought that there was any way that Sarah would lose interest in him, and give up these experiments. Jon said, "You know, I have been thinking about that, and I do not know if that would be a good thing, or a bad thing for me. I mean, this clearly sucks, but as long as she is getting some perverse satisfaction out of torturing me, maybe she will cut me loose after a while. Maybe she will grow the hell up, and will realize that it is not right to torture people for the sheer enjoyment out of it. I just can not imagine being stuck in one of her 'experimental' phases for the rest of my life. That is what is scaring me the most right now. What if something happens to Sarah, and I have no way out of this?"
Those words and that idea hung in the air for quite a bit. Karyn knew that these were all valid points, and Jon had every right to be down right panicked about his current situation. She saw the grocery store coming into sight, so she decided to change the subject. "Hey Jon, let me see that list from your mom, so I can get an idea of what we are having for dinner tonight." Jon then reached into his pocket to give the list to Karyn.
Karyn took the piece of folded paper, opened it, and was confused. "Jon, what is this? This paper has nothing but a whole bunch of gibberish on it."
Since Jon was not in a position to read the paper while he was driving, he waited to park the car in front of the grocery store to see what Karyn was talking about. He pulled the car into a spot, put the car into park, took the paper from Karyn, and said, ".....
