Kicking the cans down the road was not going to be good for Chad in the long run. "Listen. All feelings are valid in the sense that people genuinely believe in them. That does not make them logical or correct. I need you to walk me through why you feel this way. I won't let my friend hate themselves for no reason!" she said. He looked her right it the eyes. "I'm way too strong. I am a mutant freak. And I'm also way too dominant." he listed out. Anna had to think about how to tackle that. "What's so wrong with being strong? I'm still stronger than you." she probed. It was not a question about being a mutant. The manifestation of psi males in the world were a real mutation on the genetic level. She would not be a convincing person if she led with that. He looked down at the tiled floor of the shower stall. He had to gather his thoughts to explain it to another person. "It's simply not normal to be so fast and strong, Anna. I can take out whole squads of adult alpha males. I can win a tournament without dropping a point, let alone a game. It's so wrong. It's making me hate my tennis!" he complained.

Looking at him, she said "I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't want to play tennis anymore, we can find something else for you." He just rolled his eyes. "Really? What type of sport can you win without being strong or fast?" Chad challenged. She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I'm not talking about that though. Didn't you have some other hopes and dreams when you were a kid?" He crossed his arms. "What difference does that make? No one wants to watch omegas pursue their dreams. It doesn't even matter." Anna blinked at him before rubbing her temples. "I get that you are depressed and in a funk right now. I need you to listen to me as a friend. You already know that I want the best for you." she said, irritation slipping into her tone despite herself. Chad gestured for her to go ahead. "We live in a real alpha supremacy. The reason no one wants to watch omegas succeed is because all the nasty alphas in the country have manipulated everyone into thinking that omegas are weak, slutty and dumb. You are strong enough to make dreams come true. Maybe the only one."

It was of the ultimate importance to get Chad to see his strength as an asset and not as a liability. Chad was very quiet. He clearly had not thought of this before. "You do not have to feel alone. You have Percy and your brothers in the exact same boat as you. I'm also right here." she said. Taking a breath, she continued. She pointed at him and said "You still haven't told me what you wanted to do or be when you were a kid." He sighed. "Alright. I'll tell you if you have to know so bad. I... wanted to be a pilot." he said with slight hesitation. It looked like he was embarrassed to reveal that. Anna was surprised. It was not something she would have guessed. "Oh. What type of planes did you want to fly? Commercial flights, or war planes that do really cool stuff?" she said. She had no clue about planes, but she could support her friend by at least asking him something about this topic. He blinked and said "Well, neither of those. I wanted to do the stunt planes. At the very least, a simple single engine 2 seater for me and my mate. I was told there was no money in it. Omega stuff as well."

Making money was important in any world. She said "Well, you don't need to be super fast or strong to pilot a big plane. You need only to be observant and diligent in the air, I assume. Let's focus on that dream for now. If your parents need a job that makes money to get approval, we can shift the dream a bit towards commercial flights." It was really good to keep the hope alive. "No one is going to pick an omega pilot over an alpha." he said. "We just need to change their minds by showing how good you are." Anna said. He did not look totally convinced here, but his arms got uncrossed. It was time to move on. "What did you mean by being too dominant?" she asked him calmly. It was not something that she could gauge. She was not really part of this world. She was a Player. Chad looked at her and said "After topping those alphas, I can't get off from bottoming anymore. Even when we fuck, I feel an overwhelming urge from my inner omega when I bottom. He tells me to buck you off. He says you are not a proper mate. It makes the sex feel hollow. I hate that feeling." he told her.
