"Wait a minute...we have cheerleading practice after school," Erika said.

"I almost forgot," Sarah said.

"Forgot?...you're the head cheerleader," Erika insisted.

"Well, maybe after that," Sarah said, "DS9..who is in?"

Melissa frowned. "Why would you start there, I mean, you start with TNG if you are doing a rewatch. I mean, I could see you skipping TOS..."

"Yes, but DS9 has arcs..." Sarah protested.

Erika, Jessica, and Allison exchanged confused looks. "What are you talking about? Why are you speaking in some kind of code?"

"Code? You mean like Java or Python?" Tiffany asked.

"No, they mean a cipher," Melissa said.

Erika, Jessica, and Allison were at the fringes of Sarah's immediate friends, and at the moment, Tiffany, Amber, Melissa, and Sarah were all talking what seemed to be nonsense to each other, and seemed to be walking away together...without the three of them. "Sarah?" Jessica asked.

Sarah turned. "Yes?"

"Where are you going?"

"Class..." she said, as if it was obvious.

"What about us?" Allison said.

"Don't you have class too? I'd better catch up..." Sarah said, picking up her pace to catch up with the other three girls, were were heading into the crowd of students.

"What was that?" the three girls exclaimed, confused.

A little while later, Jon passed a confused looking Tim Brant in the hall. "You won't believe what just happened in my class," he exclaimed.

"What?"

"Tiffany Sanders kept raising her hand and answering questions. And correctly. I mean...I didn't even know she even opened the textbook so far this year. And then at the end, she went up to Mr. Foster and asked for an extra assignment because she wanted to get her grades up."

"Maybe her parents gave her that get your grades up talk," Jon said. "I know my Mom gives that one to Zoe all the time." Inwardly, he hoped that was the only interesting thing of the day, a cheerleader trying to get her grades up.

"Maybe," Tim said, "but it just gave me a weird vibe," he insisted.
